I am reaching out to express my concerns regarding the recent water billing practices in Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality.
It has come to my attention that discrepancies in billing amounts are becoming increasingly common. For instance, receiving a bill of R55,000, followed by another the next month for R65,000, raises serious questions. Many residents, particularly those in RDP houses, are struggling to make sense of these charges, which appear arbitrary and unjust.
I believe that there are systemic issues at play that may be leading to poor billing practices, potentially harming vulnerable communities. It is imperative that the municipality addresses these practices to restore trust and ensure fair treatment for all residents.
This is really pathetic and people must come out and boycotte this.
