BAD SERVICE

I had a very disappointing experience at Neovision Optometrist in Rembrandt Mall, Paarl.

When I arrived, I was informed that the optometrist is still attending to another patient. Shortly thereafter, another lady arrived after me but left the practice briefly. I was then asked to take a seat while the optometrist still attending / doing an eye test with the patient who was inside.

After the eye test, the optometrist came out with that patient to assist with choosing glasses. The lady who had arrived after me then returned and sat next to me. To my surprise, the optometrist proceeded to attend to this lady instead of me, even though I had arrived first.

Although I had been waiting for approximately 30 minutes, after she (optometrist) assisted the other client who came after me, she collected her belongings and appeared ready to leave the practice. When I raised my concern with the reception desk and indicated that I had not been assisted, the optometrist responded by stating, “I’m on lunch ma'am.” I further explained that I had been waiting longer than the client who was assisted.

I am extremely disappointed with the poor service I received after waiting for such a long time. Customers should be treated equally and with respect. If my time and service needs are not valued, I would rather take my service elsewhere.
