I have never left a bad review in my life and I do realize that this is not a fancy restaurant, but I think you should expect some sort of standard when you go out to eat and are paying for a service. Where do I start?
We waited 10 minutes to be greeted and seated when the restaurant only had a few tables. Waitors were hanging around chatting and on their phones. NO MANAGEMENT IN SIGHT! The menus were ABSOLUTELY filthy. How about wiping them down for customers? We do not want to see what the previous person ate for breakfast! It was covered in oil and had sauces and bits of lettuce all over! Our food came and there was no taste to it at all. NO salt or pepper on the table. It took forever to get our waitresses attention as she was just not interested in helping us. We decided to just ignore this instead of sending the food back and barging out.
We ask to speak to the manager on duty who went by the name of SUZY. So our waitress went to the office where she was "working" and camr back to told us the manager is not in at the moment. At this point we were livid because we knew she was in the office! (During our visit, we saw her leave her minuscule office to walk across the pharmacy for some purchases and we SAW HER ON HER PHONE SCROLLING THROUGH FACEBOOK wearing a huge, happy smile that took possession of her whole face and displayed all her teeth and gums. .
Reflecting back on this incident now, I believe the manageress told the waitress to tell us she was not in! Waitress then told us she is always very busy during the period of month end because she has alot of work to do and is only ever in for half a days work. Well if that is the case WHY does she have time to walk across to the pharmacy for personal purchases? It is obvious the restaurant does not function well under her control nor does she seems to care....
It is very unfortunate that bad management is the reason for our dreadful experience. KFC would have been a better choice just across the road........
