Pathetic Disgusting Poor Service
Terrible, terrible, terrible service provider. Our wifi in the area has been off since 14/02 and when you phone Cool Ideas they say it is the work of Netx Tech. All they say is no ETR, no ETR, no ETR. Netx has not even been working at the site of the problem for the last two days when we drive past. They left the whole and all the cables like that and does not care if they leave us without wifi. I have to work and study from home and now it is costing me my work and my job and my studies as I am unable to complete assignments and attend classes. Who will cover this? Who cares? No one not NetX and not Cool Ideas either. Why should you because you have connectivity wherever you are so you dont care that we have been sitting without connectivity for more than seven days. Pathetic and disgusting. How are you even allowed to operate? Pathetic and poor service. You should be ashamed!!!!!

23 Feb 2026, 06:58It is now Monday and the Wifi is still off. It seems that Cool Ideas and NetX does not care about service deliver, we will have to go the media and ombudsman as this is just unacceptalbe service!!!!!!!

The reason for the outage in your area is due to a major fibre break caused by the municipality installing water pipes, which unfortunately resulted in significant damage to our lines. This was not a minor fault, but extensive physical damage to the infrastructure.
A temporary fix has been put in place to restore connectivity where possible. However, due to the extent of the damage, completing the full line repairs and implementing a permanent solution will take additional time. Our technical teams are working to resolve this as quickly and safely as possible.
