We at AAT Composites have been let down completely, Dave van Rensburg the Director makes many promises to resolve issues with our inverters and batteries. Instead he refers us to phone the manufacturer our selves due to his distributor channels changing. He's left us hanging in the repair of our 8kw Ohm inverter, suggesting he will come back to us, but never does, we've lost critical business due to his useless response. In the 2nd UPS project we bought 2x 3.6kWh sirius batteries, I was present at the installation, and it seemed the one battery did not appear to be new. This was explained that they did not have enough stock presently but we would get a loan unit. the loan unit gave issues and stocked working after a while leaving us with one battery. Now it's been told to us to take up the warranty with the manufacturer, as it is our problem.

I purchased a 5kva inverter from them, it was used for a power backup system, after a few months I fitted the solar panels (I am a qualified electrician and I have completed an accredited Solar Power Installation Course). At this point the inverter went faulty, it was not charging correctly, I thought it was the batteries that were faulty so I replaced them and this carried on. Eventually after a lot of arguments I took it off the wall and returned it. They said they would repair it, it came back after a few weeks and it was not repaired as it did exactly the same thing. I took it back again and after another long wait they returned it. I didn't re~install it, until recently and the first loadshedding we had it once again failed to work. They refuse to replace it or refund it, they say I must bring it back again for repairs..

Since my previous review in Feb 2019, we have given the Director of New Earth Energy , Dave Van Rensburg, numerous opportunities to resolve the problems created by his company and staff. His staff turnover is so crazy that a "NEW EXPERT" was sent to my property on some many occasions, I lost count. An update on the situation: New Earth Energy DID NOT resolve the problems, but in fact cased more problems at my property. They moved panels on my roof and now I have roof leaks that they will not come out to fix, after they caused the damage. The installed a heat pump and blocked the drainage values with silicon, so now it just drips from the ***** holes all over my decking. They were informed by the supplier of the heat pumps that their installation was incorrect, but they still ignored this! No they tell us that we must sort it out ourselves with the manufacturer. As customers, we never signed off the system, as it never worked correctly. We still have problems with the system shutting off or going into error states, as we did from the very beginning. Now Dave Van Rensburg has decided that he will no longer support the system. AWESOME, we have paid him in full before the system was installed, for a system that NEE could never get working properly. And the cherry on top, they can just decide at any time that they will not fix their problems or honour their guarantees. What a company to deal with..... They went as far as threatening us and telling us to remove our posts on Hello Peter. I will not do this, as people have the right to know about companies like this, that took advantage of us due to the current energy crisis. We are still following the Legal process and will get the law to deal with this company.

December 2018, Engaged with New Earth Energy, an accredited company, for a solar solution for my home. I was given a written quote for a complete off grid system for almost R400 000. I was also asked to pay upfront for this system, to secure the 2018 price, equipment, and an installation in December 2018. Paid full amount on 11th December. Install started on 12th December. A 4 day install that is still not 100% complete as at 22 Feb. The company has been paid. I have not been given any training, instruction manuals, electrical compliance certificates, or even a proper tax invoice. The support team and Director avoid calls and messages and always have some pathetic excuse for the system failing or for them not supporting it. R400 000 is a massive amount of money to pay to a company for a system that does not work as promised/quoted.
