Regarding NIB Homes (House Rental Agency), the response times to acknowledge and action the issues logged by tenants is unacceptable. At times, it takes their admin months to acknowledge or respond to simplest of queries or genuine concerns raised by tenants w.r.t. home maintenance.
Our logged issues have been outstanding for months e.g. the light in the kitchen does not work (they probably expect you to work in the dark or use an emergency light) , the patio door will not close (a major security risk).. the list goes-on.
Eventually a contractor comes and fixes the patio door but the issues resurfaces within few days.
The agency sends contractor to fix issues at the rented unit and the contractor took a video of our kid at the house without parental consent. The video was shared bluntly by their admin person with us stating that the kid has accepted that he fiddled with the door. Now our personal security and privacy has been compromised and we've bigger concerns at hand as the kid's video could be floating around with unknown people.
We're liaising with our company's legal department to initiate action.
We never expected a professional housing rental company like NIB homes to operate with such unprofessional and irresponsible attitude.
We're grossly concerned!
