Nicol Davis are harassing me for their client that doesn't have a contract with me, and was improperly billed by their client where my medical Aid told their client they'll only pay at scheme rate and accepted that, there after they say I owe them...it's disappointing 😞

Aggressive, threatening collection tactics — refused to provide proof
I received multiple SMS and WhatsApp messages from Nicol, Davis & Associates claiming they were collecting an outstanding Academy of York debt and demanding immediate payment (messages began 31 Oct 2025). They provided the bank account ABSA 4074710889 and pressured me to pay by specific deadlines, threatened “Magistrate Court” action with a **** case number, and mentioned “Section 77.” I requested in writing that they email: (1) their CFDC registration certificate, (2) a Letter of Authority on Academy of York letterhead, and (3) a full itemised statement (capital, interest, fees & VAT). They refused to provide these and continued to demand I call “Rachel” instead of sending documents. They also called my family. I reported the matter to the CFDC and contacted Academy of York for verification. If you are contacted by this company: do not pay until the original creditor confirms in writing and the collector provides CFDC proof.

Ignoring my emails
Ref nr BOT0020005647. I have an account with these people. I have been handed over to them. My daughter has a trust and for the trust to pay this account the trust need an invoice with my daughter's name and surname on. I have send numerous emails through to a Melissa van Zyl last week so that I can send it through to the trust so that they can make a payment. I am struggling to get that invoice from them, they keep on ignoring my emails. I keep on receiving threatening messages that the Sheriff of the court will come and take my stuff. So what must I do if they do not want to give me that invoice? It seems that they do not want the money but now they are threatening me. I'm doing my part to have this money paid but they keep on ignoring me.

Tactless - POPI - Calling people to trace someone
Earlier received a call from Sandra stating she was from NDA and was asking me if I had a contact number for XYZ (name). Told her no I am no longer in touch with him and asked who NDA was and why is she calling me and why she is looking for him... she told me because of POPI she can't share. Well because of POPI I can't share the number and wondering where she got my number from that would link me to him and why call me to give a number or leave a message if I could. Tactless. I of course traced the number Sandra called me from and it's linked to this attorneys office. Tsk tsk.

Tacktless ruthless and worst agent in the world Elonese Davis
I have never in my life spoken to anyone so disgusting rude and arrogant and still for the person to sound so uneducated. Elonese Davis calls me doesn't to respond when I answer then yells at me and threatens me. Telling me how she will call my HR department implying that she will attempt to damage my reputation and drops the call. I call the number back as this girl did not mention where she is calling from and what the call was about.. I ask the person who answers to please provide me with details she provides me with this girl Elonese Davis name. Kate was so kind and helpful I get transferred back to the Elonese and I ask her how can she be so rude and unprofessional she continues to scream and perform yelling at me. It takes years for a docto to build a trustworthy relationship with a patient and then a call like this makes you rethink the relationship with the doctor. I see she shares the same surname of the business owner which probably makes her feel like she had the right to be tactless, arrogant and absolutely no respect. It's sad thinking how the business owner had to work hard to build a business just to have its reputation tarnished by someone who clearly has no telephone or client service skills. Absolutely no etiquette... What a disappointment no wonder no email address was registered to this business I shudder to think how many people would have reported this Elonese Davis
