I wanted to share my recent experience regarding service bookings for my two Nissan NP200 bakkies. I was quite frustrated to learn that none of the Nissan dealerships on the East Rand offer servicing on Saturdays. After several unsuccessful attempts, I contacted Nissan Melrose and was fortunate to speak with Allen. What an amazing and professional individual! He listened patiently to my concerns and simply said, “Don’t worry, I’ve got you.” His calm, helpful attitude and willingness to assist immediately turned my frustration into relief. Allen truly went above and beyond, and I believe his service deserves recognition.

NISSAN MELROSE - POOR WORKSHOP EXPERIENCE To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my concerns regarding my recent experiences with the services provided at Nissan Melrose. While I have had positive interactions with the sales department, my experience with the workshop and branch manager has been far from satisfactory. I purchased a Nissan X-Trail in August of last year and have faced persistent issues with the brakes since day one. Despite returning the vehicle six times, I have experienced ongoing problems that have yet to be resolved. Each time, I am told that the vehicle has been reset and should operate without problems; however, this has not been the case. Eventually, I was informed that there was an issue with the back brakes' release system, yet I was told that I would be responsible for the costs incurred, despite having driven only 460 km since my purchase. On the sixth visit, I was told that the noise in my vehicle was due to the brake pad springs rattling; a claim that seems illogical given the circumstances. Furthermore, I have developed a troubling noise from the front brakes when braking hard, and the explanation given—that it concerns carbon issues typical for Nissan vehicles—is just not acceptable. I find it frustrating and disrespectful that, throughout this entire experience, the branch manager has not taken any initiative to personally address my concerns. I strongly advise potential customers to reconsider their options before choosing Nissan Melrose for their service needs. It has been an exhausting experience filled with excuses rather than solutions.

My recent experience with Nissan Melrose has left me thoroughly dissatisfied with their service. The workshop manager, Victor, and Dealer Principle, Brandon, have demonstrated a lack of professionalism and accountability that is disheartening. I purchased a brand new Magnite in May 2023, and within a few months, I noticed a clutch shudder issue. Despite consistently reporting this problem and following the proper escalation process to Nissan South Africa, I have not received any assistance or resolution since October. Currently, my car is at Nissan Melrose for a clutch inspection. Surprisingly, their own report acknowledges hot spots on the clutch, yet they are refusing to address and repair the issue. Victor and Brandon have not only failed to provide assistance but have also displayed an unacceptable level of customer service. I find it disappointing that the dealership is unwilling to take responsibility for a documented problem with my vehicle. I advise potential customers to reconsider choosing Nissan Melrose, as my experience has been marked by frustration and disappointment with their service.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received at Nissan Melrose. My experience with the workshop manager, Victor, and the Dealer Principle, Brandon, has been nothing short of frustrating and unprofessional. I purchased a brand new Magnite in May 2023, and in October, I began experiencing a clutch shudder issue. Upon reporting it to the dealership, I was told that this was a characteristic of the vehicle. Dissatisfied with this response, I followed the proper process by escalating my complaint to Nissan South Africa. Despite my continuous efforts and monthly complaints, I have not received any assistance or resolution. Currently, my car is in the workshop at Nissan Melrose for an inspection of the clutch. The workshop's own report indicates hot spots on the clutch, yet they are refusing to repair the vehicle. Both Victor and Brandon have refused to assist further, providing unacceptable service. The lack of accountability and assistance in addressing a clearly documented issue is disappointing. I urge potential customers to reconsider choosing Nissan Melrose for their automotive needs, as my experience has been nothing short of frustrating and unsatisfactory.

From first contact, to finance application, to delivery and beyond, it was nothing but fantastic service from Byron Mace, Brandon and the team at Nissan Melrose. Having never considered a Nissan, I can truly say that I have no regrets on choosing to buy a Qashqai, and specifically dealing with Nissan Melrose. Looking forward to many more encounters with this business in future!

I bought two cars already in a space of less than 6 months and my experience with this dealership was horrible. I first bought a Mini Cooper, drove it for like a week then it started heating on the engine. Took the car back to the dealership and they kept quiet the whole week without communicating with me, I then decided to go visit them only to find out that they going to strip the car so it can be fixed. I refused and decided to cancel the contract but sadly I was forced to exchange the car and get a different one. They gave me a Ford Fiesta and guess what? I drove it again for like a week then parked it at home also like a week as I was on vacation. January the 1st when I came back, I took my car to the Garage to pour petrol, put water in it, pump the tyres and check the oil. January the 2nd in the morning on my way to work, I got stuck for more than 5 times and at that time had to switch it on and off so I can get to the office. unfortunately 6 min away from the office the car decided to not move anymore, had to call my insurance to tow it back to the dealership and the response I got was that my car didn't have water. This means they sold me a car that was leaking on the water pump and I couldn't see it... everytime I pour water it will go somewhere around the engine not even outside but inside. Right now I don't even have a car with me but I'm expected to pay for it at the end of the day. I feel so helpless and that the bank has also failed me as to cancel the contract or change the dealership. Mahlodi, Brandon and Neville are not trust worthy.
