NON ADHERANCE TO DEED OF SALE
After numerous initial problems with the first estate agent, Marno Muller, I dealt with Moyra de Lange and purchased a property in the Northern Suburbs. I received a compliance certificate for water, yet the plumber had to come out 2 to address the problems. The outside tap is still not sorted considering i have to use a spanner to close the tap to ensure it doesn't drip. In the addendum to the deed of sale, it is noted that the situation regarding the overflow pipe and geyser will be addressed and repaired during the plumbing COC repairs - which still has not been addressed. I have made several attempts to try and contact Moyra de Lange, to no avail. I would like these concerns addressed and sorted without being shoved from pillar to post by the plumber whose company name Moyra will not give to me dispite having asked on two different occasions. Seems once the commission is through so is their dealings with you.

ALERT - Wont return deposit

BEWARE!!! Unprofessional and Dishonest!
We appointed Christo Deacon as our rental agent on a sub-lease of the garden flat at the property we are presently renting (for whom he is also the rental agent). The warning signs that he is useless and dishonest were there early already and I wish we'd heeded them before we appointed him. Apart from the fact that it took months to find a suitable tenant, Mr. Deacon would routinely pay our tenant's rental over to us late. Sometimes several days after receiving it (on time) from the tenant. He never provided a signed copy of our lease despite several requests and never fulfilled any other 'management' obligations despite taking a management fee each month. The same uselessness is prevalent in our primary rental agreement. We have to ask the landlord for copies of our municipal account each month and he never inspects the property. He also paid over our rental to the landlord late most months, blaming us for late payment, which was an outright lie! In June 2017, after asking several times for our rent to be paid over, and after many lies and broken promises, Mr. Deacon eventually admitted to using our rental for personal reasons. Only after threatening to open a case of theft at the police station and reporting his conduct to the Estate Agency Affairs Board, did he eventually pay over the money on 20th June. As a result of his conduct, I terminated our agreement and gave him until 31st July to pay over my tenant's deposit. Despite several follow-up requests, he has, to date, still not done so and simply ignores all correspondence. I have lodged a complaint against him with the EEAB (Ref. No. K ********** I) and encourage any others who have similar challenges with him to do the same before more people are conned. He also trades under Azura Real Estate so beware!

Incompetent Company
<p>NSrentals are run by an owner that does not have any professional integrity and the rent paid by die occupants was always on time, but NS Rental will pay in late and wrong amounts. The owner of NSrental also still owes me as the Property owner R4000 for furniture he wanted, but still waiting 5 months for payment.</p>

Bad service and no refusal to return deposit
<p>Hi,</p> <p> </p> <p>I had a very bad experience with NS Rentals and the owner Christo Deacon.</p> <p> </p> <p>I have made use of this rental agency with two of my properties. The properties were badly managed and I have lost a cosniderable amount amount of money due to the lack of accountibility on the agency's side. Chrisot was rude to my tenants and neglegted his duties as property manager.</p> <p> </p> <p>It took considerable effort to return the deposit of one my tentant's.</p> <p> </p> <p>I still struggle to get the deposit back from the other property (a year after their last contact ended). Christo Deacon at NS Rentals is refusing/not willing to pay back the deposit of this property. </p> <p> </p> <p>I have now started legal proceedings against him and his company in an effort to put a stop to his and get back the deposit. He has no legal grounds to withhold the tenant's deposit. </p> <p> </p> <p>As a landlord, I disourage anyone making use of this company for various reasons. The service is unprofessional.
