Octotel is really lacks big in service delivery. We are forced to take a second line because we were ignored as to what we required. Then 3 teams came to asses and installation of the second line was booked for Friday. Two guys showed up looked and left. We have not had any communication as to what's going on.

Hi my name is Aneka and my husband is Ryno. We would just like to bring it under your attention that Claton that came to install our Internet was very unhelpful and rude with my mom and my husband. We asked him were we want our box set up and he just did what he wanted to. Me and my husband was not at home as I was in hospital. So my mom was here and he didn't Listen to here either. Then when my husband phone yesterday he was just as rude telling us if we are unhappy, we must apply reinstallation. I'm we are really not happy with him. And would like to get feed back on what is going to happen please.

Constant internet outages in the Overberg area. The service interruptions have been occurring regularly and have become extremely frustrating. I subscribed to this service specifically to support school and educational activities, but due to the constant outages, the connection has become unreliable and often unusable. This situation makes it very difficult to rely on the service for its intended purpose. A stable internet connection is essential, especially for learning and school-related work. At the moment, the service in our area does not meet reasonable expectations for reliability. I kindly request that Octotel urgently investigate the recurring outages in the Overberg area and provide feedback on what steps will be taken to resolve this issue permanently.

The Service Octotel has been providing is really declining as time passes. There is now constant breakage in the fiber lines in my area (Overberg) and it is negatively impacting my income as I work from home. The updates they provide on their site is not detailed at all and they never give an ETA... This is BAD!!!

Have you ever seen workers run when completing a job? Well 2 employees of Octotel, Quitin Lodewyk and his mate Adiel did just that when ensuring that the Octotel fibre was connected in the manhole to the flat in a complex. They were efficient and punctual and happy to explain. The whole service from Octotel, reinstalling the fibre in the flat, it had been previously removed during renovations, to reconnecting the fibre in the manhole was efficient. They were puctual and friendly. I have no issues with Octotel .

Octotel My Fibre Optic At Home in Lakeside... There's a problem with The Fibre. are you doing Maintenance? Today 23rd February 2026 my speeds have dropped to 50 Meg instead of 300 Meg and my latency has increased from 1 or 2milliseconds to Twenty Milliseconds for Fibre Optic ? that's NOT good twenty milliseconds to cape town data centre's is NOT good..

Horrible service. Ordered fibre through Vodacom and was told Octotel would be in contact within 7 days regarding installation, 3 weeks later and no contact has been made. They dont follow up with enquiries made from their website, and their contact number always says there is no agents available and the call drops. This means there is no way to actually speak to an agent or get any feedback whatsoever. Pathetic.

Didnt want to come sort out my fibre wifi because my area was "unsafe" and will only be "safe" on Thursday absolute bull**** they are lazy and it is monday i have no internet since saturday this is ridiculous would NEVER reccomend worst wifi fibre service EVER
