Went for a milkshake. Waitress said she would confirm the price, since it is not on the menu. Waitress then disappeared leaving us waiting for some time. When we noticed her, she ignored us. Disappointing service. No wonder 2/5 on hellopeter.

My family and i went to Old Town Italy in Menlyn to have dinner, we shared the platter on the starters menu and all 3 of us have gotten food poisoning. We got really ill following dinner there. Previous time we went there the food was a bit disappointing but we thought we would give it a second try and to be honest never again.

Overall great food and great experience makes for great memories. So definitely a thumbs up from me, breeze of fresh air. Beautifully decored restaurants with such awesome meals. Enjoyed my meal and drinks. Friendly staff, really great place to hang out

Last night I celebrated my birthday with my boyfriend at one of our favourite restaurants- what a disaster. We arrived just after 6, the restaurant was half full. After waiting a very long time to be seated a waiter arrived from the bar area. We ordered wine, a starter and two mains at 6:30. We started to realize that we don't see any waiters.. As we waited for our food we saw that no other tables were served with food. After an hour of waiting, the kitchen bell ringing like a fire alarm with no water attending thereto... We waved down a waiter to please check up on our food. He brought our mains, ice cold. We asked him about the started and he didn't really respond thereto. As this was more than an hour after ordering, we wanted to have our food reheated. It took us quite a while to attract the attention of someone who looked like a manager to ask him to please attend to us as our waiter was nowhere to be seen after he threw our food down. The manager apologized and after a decent period of time, brought out our new meal. We realized throughout this time that the tables around us where unhappy and restless. The man sitting behind us complained about the same issue. Upon arrival of our food, we asked for ketchup, as it did not arrive, we were able to attrack the attention of a waiter chatting at the bar, he eventually brought the ketchup as I was finishing my second last bite of food. This was quite unpleasant and the service was not the only substandard element--one of our orders were wrong and the food was nothing to write home about. This is such a pity as we live the authenticity of the restaurant. As we are such fans, we brought dineplan vouchers during lockdown in support of their team. If anyone is interested in buying them at a discount.. Let me know. We will definitely not be visiting again.

My Lasagne arrived not hot at all. Was pre prepared. Not freshly made.Got sick and have been running the whole night. My husband ate the left overs and he is sick as well. Very expensive. R80 for an Aperol Spritz. Very disappointing. Was there for a birthday and my friend’s food was cold as well. Staff was friendly but food really disappointing.
