Review your refund processes, evaluate the circumstances under which refund is required and update your procedures to fit each circumstance. At least that is what every reputable business should do. Not every situation is the same therefore it should not be treated the same.
I am currently faced with a dilemma that involves me having to get my money back from Open Learning Group. The money is classified as a refund, although it is money I wrongly deposited through the EFT process on my Capitec app, which I do plan on deleting as soon as I get my money, I'm keeping the APP for evidence sake. The process of refund takes up till 7 days as per some of the call centre agents and up till 21 days as per others.
I am frustrated as I have called their call centre to have the process sped up and to find out the delay and no feasible feedback has been given to me. I went through the reviews and I found the same issue occurred 4 years ago and its now 2020 and the process is still tedious.
