Appalling treatment towards customers

I booked a table for 12 people for yesterday 14:00 at olives and plates the Luna club, to celebrate my friends birthday and I must say I was appalled by the treatment we got at the restaurant. Yes I will acknowledge that we got there an hour late but that was not grounds to basically kick us out. We were told to be out by 5 because it was a lunch booking and that the table was reserved for dinner. How are we to come to a restaurant to celebrate a birthday and have time estimated for us. That we had only 3 hours to eat, drink then go. As we are that how much of a busy restaurant it is. I’ve never heard of a restaurant having a cut off time. I was not even informed about it at all. I was not informed that a booking of a certain time has a time limit/estimation and that I should be out at a certain time. The manager himself was rude. That whole ordeal was embarrassing. And funny enough there were people on the other tables that came before us, that didn’t even have what was done to us done to them. I wonder what it is that brought on such behaviour towards us. I am highly disappointed at the level of respect and attitude your staff has towards customers, paying customers at that. We booked a table to come dine, we didn’t ask for a favor nor were we looking to dine for free for them to treat us like that. Absolutely disgusting behaviour!!!
