I bought a fan online, so the courrier refused to deliver it to me while I paid the delivery fee as well. I contacted Makro customer care and they told me that I can only speak with the courrier company, my question is how because I bought from them not from the courrier... When I requested the cancellation and refunds also they said they don't do on their side, another department will do and I will get my refunds after 7 to 14 working days....

Why is this business still allowed to operate after so many people have complained about no refund and/or no product received. I ordered an inverter in Feb and never received it and despite being in constant contact with them for months I have received neither a refund or the product. It amounts to theft so why are they getting away with it and still trading.

I purchased an inverter from them and when it got to me, it was the incorrect inverter. After some research, I agreed to keep the incorrect inverter as it was similar to what I had originally ordered. In December 2023 I purchased 3 more inverters. 1 month later I still didn't have them but was told that the warehouse had been closed and I would have them soon. There were numerous emails back and forth between myself and the owner, Amore Visser. Amore always promised that the courier would collect and then had excuses as to why they had not been able to collect. When I requested a refund, I was sent a *****ulent proof payment as proof of my refund. The money never cleared in our account. Even the debt collectors couldn't recover our money and had to blacklist them. I would not recommend purchasing from this company or the owner. They still owe me R54 000

After trying to be understanding of the situation, just last week they were communicating on the state of our refunds, then today they no longer exist, the number listed for them goes through to some recruitment agency, their emails are deactivated, and our monies are gone just like that! They have disappeared off the face of the Earth! We've been ****med people! I hope Amore Jordaan never gets to open any business ever again, I will keep tabs on this name and report them for delinquency at every chance I get. Enjoy the R2k you ****med from me

I received my order, all 13 office chairs. I want to thank Amanda for communicating effectively with me and explained to me that they had a supplier problem. She answered all my emails and calls, kept me in the loop and assured me. I received all 13 chairs in 3 weeks after my order. Thank you Amanda for the assurance and keeping your word.

I share this only to possibly help anyone else from having the same experience I did. I accept that people make mistakes, and that issues pop up. But they way Online Furniture Warehouse dealt with me as a customer was horrible. I was **** to, I was ignored after they stored my phone number (I know this because when I used a different number they would suddenly answer, and then store and ignore that number too), I was promised my refund had been paid in to my account, along with damages, which was a lie, I was told my order was on the way only to find when I investigated with the courier that it had been cancelled. I emailed, Whatsapp'd, SMS'd, tried phoning the business numbers. It took well over a month and finally opening a case of theft against them to finally get paid. In that time I lost many weeks of business, lost potential customers I may never get back, spent weeks chasing, following up, wasting my time to visit the police station to open a case of theft (perhaps not a waste, because I was paid almost immediately after). I never got paid the damages I was promised, so all in all lost almost 6 weeks of business, a lot of money, time and stress because of this company. Be warned!

Bought and oven from them on the 05 of April 2024 for R6499. Very poor communication, have been promised a refund , each time I follow up it has been a different excuse. I have raised the issue with the NCC, next steps will be a case with SAPD and formal litigation process.
