Avoid Only Realty – Landlords, Be Warned!

If you're a landlord, I strongly advise steering clear of Only Realty. My experience with them managing my rental flat has been incredibly frustrating.

Over the past few years, they’ve repeatedly overpaid both the City of Johannesburg and the managing agents, citing that the surplus would be credited to my account — yet these supposed "credits" have never materialised.

A former tenant caused significant damage to my unit and left without paying their final month’s rent. Only Realty took no action whatsoever and allowed them to vacate freely. Communication is another major issue — for every dozen emails sent, you’re lucky to receive a vague, one-line response. Phone calls go unanswered entirely.

Their lack of accountability, poor communication, and general mismanagement make them completely unfit for property management. Landlords deserve better.
