On Saturday i emailed them about my wifi they said that my service is not suspended, there is no technical support available when you try phoning, the number of reception is not working it is off all the time. This is the worse wifi support i ever had. The customer service is poor ypu struggling to get hold of anyone even when you send them a Facebook message. I will not recommend anyone to go to opentel. I will cancel my services with them with immediate affect

"Before signing up for Opentel internet services, it's crucial to read reviews. I disregarded the negative feedback and proceeded with the sign-up, which proved to be a mistake. The initial connection process was problematic, with nearly a week's delay and multiple reschedulings. I was on the verge of canceling the installation when the technician finally arrived, almost a week late. After paying for the first month upfront, our connection was established. However, we subsequently received an incorrect invoice for the full amount, which was rectified after contacting their customer service. The following month, we experienced significant issues with our streaming services. Despite having a 25 Mbps line speed, which was 5 Mbps faster than our previous Metrofibre connection (where we had no problems), we encountered frequent buffering and slow internet speeds. We had switched to Opentel only because Metrofibre wasn't available at our new location. After researching Opentel further, we discovered numerous similar complaints. We decided to upgrade our line speed, incurring additional costs, but this failed to resolve the streaming problems, especially since we only used the connection on one device. Consequently, we explored alternative providers. We canceled our Opentel subscription at the end of January, requesting termination at the end of February, as per their cancellation policy. However, we received another invoice including a cancellation fee of R1999.99 and a R378.00 charge for February, which was partially offset by our existing R150+ credit. A significant issue arose when our service was immediately suspended in February after we provided notice. After contacting Opentel, they rectified the error and apologized. Nevertheless, before the end of March, we received a cancellation notice stating that the cancellation was due to non-payment, not our customer-initiated cancellation, which I dispute. We are now subscribed to Rain, and so far, they have delivered on their promises. Our streaming issues have been resolved, and their service meets our expectations. Therefore, I cannot recommend Opentel's services and will not use them again."
