Oriental Galleria still has it
Ordered from Oriental Galleria and the food was awesome. My Family Had the mutton breyani, mutton bunny, veg bunny and lamb burgers. The service was a little slow but the food was delicious food. The portions were okay. Extra gravy in the bunny is the way to go. Mutton breyani is always my go to meal. It was to die for.

Oriental Galleria still has it
Ordered from Oriental Galleria and the food was awesome. My Family Had the mutton breyani, mutton bunny, veg bunny and lamb burgers. The service was a little slow but the food was delicious food. The portions were okay. Extra gravy in the bunny is the way to go. Mutton breyani is always my go to meal. It was to die for.

Pathetic Service!! - The Oriental Galleria.
Most pathetic service!!! My colleagues and I waited 15 minutes to be seated and thereafter over an hour for our meals to be served, which never arrived. During this time our waiter decided it would be most appropriate to disappear the entire hour avoiding us completely as well as the rest of the staff. To get the managers attention we had to call in to reception and request his presence who then defends the waiter’s behavior and justifies the poor service provided by the staff. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone highly disappointed.

False Advertising
Excited about my exams results, my family & I decided to go out to Orientals Galleria to celebrate. We placed our drinks order which took between 15-20mins to get to us (4 people in total). The menu stated "Crumbed Mushrooms", which was part of our starters order. To our horror, we received a plate of what looked like steamed frozen mushrooms covered in oily cheese. How is oily cheesy mushrooms and crumbed mushrooms the same thing. We had no intention of staying for the main course if the starters was anything to go by. I will never again eat at Orientals or recommend the place to anyone. The service is terrible and the food very bland.

False Advertising

Awesome food, consistently
<p>Visited the Oriental at the workshop again and must say the mutton bunny was amazing, better than all the other so called hot spots like Brittania and Hollywood. Excellent service and home cooked style flavour.....a definite recommend.</p> <p> </p> <p>Prawn curry is not prepared Durban style though so dont have that.</p> <p> </p>

<p>I visited Oriental in Galleria mall . The short story is the meat in the mutton curry was raw and the manager and high level staff are total cowards. I waited 15 minutes for manger and he didn't pitch. It is an embarrassment that people working at that the establishment can ruin it's reputation. </p>
