I booked accomodation for Ironman South Africa for 27 March to 30 March 2020. Due to Corona the event was cancelled and South Africa was put in lockdown from teh 26th March. I corresponded with the Hotel and they agreed atht there would be no Cancellation costs due to this. But Otel.com refuse to refund me the 300 Euros inspite of having checked with the Hotel themsselves regarding the concellation Waiver. The HOtel in SA had emailed them as such.
And it is impossible to constructively engage with them as they now just don't answer my requests on their message system. And they have disconnected verbal communication lines per telephone. So my advice is use any other booking facilty but stay FAR away from Otel.com
