Pity for Pablo’s

What a shame to see something so good turn into something so bad. I made a reservation for Saturday (05/02). The group at whole were poorly greeted and in fact told that there was no reservation made. When indeed there was.

To add onto this, the waitress’s attitude persisted the entire evening. Our food took ages, both starters and mains- this couldn’t be because of business as empty tables were plentiful (now-understandingly so).

The waitress on a few occasions in the night argued with us as she had incorrectly poured a few drinks and would not return them. In turn what was said is “she watched them pour it- so just drink it”.

Additionally the bill came to our table of 6- written “a service fee of 10% was added to the bill for tip for tables of 8 pax or more”. When calling the very under-qualified/trained manager over. He assisted us with nothing more than problems, resulting to yelling and telling the 3 ladies at the table that “he refuses to deal with the women at the table”

When we went inside to obtain his name and and the waitress name, the ladies were told that he will not assist “three drunk white b*tches”

Additionally when the men went to find out what was going on he then became defensive telling us to f*ck off, out his restaurant- because we are unsure as how to run a business.

I am absolutely guttered at this misogynistic, unethical, inappropriate and poor managed restaurant, what once was the loveliness of Benoni has turned into anything but!

ALL staff on site needs training, INCLUDING MANAGEMENT! This kind of service is disgusting and will not be tolerated!

Pablo’s- an eye-opener to say the least. For anyone interested- *RATHER GO TO SALSA* , theres nothing special about being treated like ****, and that’s all I felt in this establishment.

How sad, that something so good can turn to something so bad- what a disgrace!
