Terrible experience
Quite upset this evening…. Firstly we arrived when it was empty, then people sat at a table close to us..:: Suddenly this girl complains we’re bumping into her 1. She should complain to the establishment for their spacing issues 2. Her group could have picked a different table But that was not the worst of it… the manager seemed to think we were in the wrong, and although we were warming up to the place we suddenly felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome In future as we walk through the door please advise us if we are not your target market, we would be very happy to spend our hard earned money somewhere more inclusive

Welcoming committee at Pablo's top notch service.
The welcoming committee and Shorty made our 1st visit an unforgettable experience. The venue is beautiful, the menu is so interesting and the meals were great, tasty and a very good portion.

Pity for Pablo’s
What a shame to see something so good turn into something so bad. I made a reservation for Saturday (05/02). The group at whole were poorly greeted and in fact told that there was no reservation made. When indeed there was. To add onto this, the waitress’s attitude persisted the entire evening. Our food took ages, both starters and mains- this couldn’t be because of business as empty tables were plentiful (now-understandingly so). The waitress on a few occasions in the night argued with us as she had incorrectly poured a few drinks and would not return them. In turn what was said is “she watched them pour it- so just drink it”. Additionally the bill came to our table of 6- written “a service fee of 10% was added to the bill for tip for tables of 8 pax or more”. When calling the very under-qualified/trained manager over. He assisted us with nothing more than problems, resulting to yelling and telling the 3 ladies at the table that “he refuses to deal with the women at the table” When we went inside to obtain his name and and the waitress name, the ladies were told that he will not assist “three drunk white b*tches” Additionally when the men went to find out what was going on he then became defensive telling us to f*ck off, out his restaurant- because we are unsure as how to run a business. I am absolutely guttered at this misogynistic, unethical, inappropriate and poor managed restaurant, what once was the loveliness of Benoni has turned into anything but! ALL staff on site needs training, INCLUDING MANAGEMENT! This kind of service is disgusting and will not be tolerated! Pablo’s- an eye-opener to say the least. For anyone interested- *RATHER GO TO SALSA* , theres nothing special about being treated like ****, and that’s all I felt in this establishment. How sad, that something so good can turn to something so bad- what a disgrace!

BEST MEXICAN RESTAURANT
REALY THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD! I have tried Salsa, well the first restaurant was great however when exploring the new franchises in Bedfordview and Boksburg it's as if it loses is the personal touch and became just another franchise. Pablo's, on the other hand, creates a homely welcome atmosphere with entertainment and VALUE FOR MONEY. We only order from the starter menu a selection of Mexican favourites and discovered the blooming onion. Well done Pablo's!

Serving alcohol to miners
<p>It is absolutely shocking that one of the managers(Ivan) goes around pouring alcohol down the throats of miners. What a disgrace considering alcohol is not to be sold to anyone under the age of 18. </p>

No Mexican fever
<p>Went out for dinner on Tuesday evening with my partner at Pablo's Mexican Cantina in Benoni. we thought we should try something different and were looking forward to being served good food. however, when we got there, we had to wait 45 minutes for the waiter to take our order. while busy ordering the "bosses daughter" rudely interupted her because there was a customer who wanted his bill. this young lady didnt even care to explain to us why she had to take waiter away. We immediately asked for the bill to pay the drinks we had ordered when we got there. The service was bad, never have I been treated like that considering we were the only people of colour in that restuarant. Never will I go back there, the owner only attended to people that are regulars there. Bad service!!!!!!!!!!!</p>
