WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE RECEIVED We were at Padstal Pretoria East on Friday, 02 June 2023. We made payment of our account, and the first payment gave the error “2-Chip Read Error” and it was confirmed by our waiter (Patience and the manager on call) that the payment did not go through, although we had proof that on the banking app it went through. They insisted that we need to make payment again and same was done as they wouldn't let us leave without the second payment. Payment went through (again, but without error on receipt). Next morning we received the notification from the bank that both payments went through and was deducted from our account, as was confirmed with the waiter and manager on duty that evening that same went through. Needless to say, numerous phone calls and e-mails and a visit to the manager in person it is now a week later and we have not yet received the one payment back that was made in double. Padstal are promising that it will only take 48 hours to do the reversal and we are still waiting.... We will never recommend going there and hope that urgent feedback in this regards will be povided.
