WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE RECEIVED We were at Padstal Pretoria East on Friday, 02 June 2023. We made payment of our account, and the first payment gave the error “2-Chip Read Error” and it was confirmed by our waiter (Patience and the manager on call) that the payment did not go through, although we had proof that on the banking app it went through. They insisted that we need to make payment again and same was done as they wouldn't let us leave without the second payment. Payment went through (again, but without error on receipt). Next morning we received the notification from the bank that both payments went through and was deducted from our account, as was confirmed with the waiter and manager on duty that evening that same went through. Needless to say, numerous phone calls and e-mails and a visit to the manager in person it is now a week later and we have not yet received the one payment back that was made in double. Padstal are promising that it will only take 48 hours to do the reversal and we are still waiting.... We will never recommend going there and hope that urgent feedback in this regards will be povided.

The first time I went to was great. but then the next 3 times in a row I was there was absolutely unsatisfactory. First problem was when the bill came, and I was told they have no more pizza special. despite the fact that I called to make sure beforehand the Monday. had to fight with the owner. Second time was again after i called to find out if they still had their schnitzel special. again, when the billed arrived despite the fact that they confirmed they still have it I got a bill for the full price. had to fight again. and then last time was when I went for the R20 Drafts. I called AGAIN before I went to make sure it's still on and they confirmed that Castle light. Black label, and Buffelsfontein draft was R20. But AGAIN, when the bill came it was full price.... EVERYTIME it is a fight and struggle, despite the fact that I always call first to make sure... I will not be going back to Padstal. Deeply disappointed.

Jurika the manager is rude and very disrespectful. She treats you like a child and has absolutely no manners. She had 3 separate heated arguments with 3 different women the day I visited. Because of her I will not support Padstal again.

The kitchen misses orders, so some clients eat and others do not. When notifying they missed an order it takes the kitchen another 45 min and still nothing.They can keep blaming it on the kitchen staff but we all know that's not the case. We had to get up to fetch the manager and found that she knew about the issue but decided to ignore the issue . Must I remind this was not even a large or complicated order-even the entire massive restaurant wasn't even packed or a bit busy as usual. I guess that's what you can expect if the owner even drinks and sit on his ass among clients. This is probably the turning point of the restaurant where the owner only cares about his income instead of the quality of the restaurant . Important note. This is not the waiters and waitresses fault but of the manager/s and I feel bad that this had to come out of their own expense.

We complained about our wine that tasted like it was mixed with water, after that they took the wine back and we ordered a bottle. When the bill came they charged us for the wine, that clearly wasn't wine. We called the supervisor and she came to us and was rude from the get go. She said we have no option but to pay for the wine and she left without saying anything else. We paid, but Padstal will never see us again. The food we ate was disgusting and so were the drinks. Please have a relook at who you hire as your supervisor, Padstal! Bye Felicia

We had a lovely evening until the superviser FELICIA had a very unprofessional attitude towards us after we complained about our wine that has tasted like it has been tasted like water. She came with an attitude and was very rude towards even though we're being polite!!!! Bad service and never going to Padstal again!!!
