I paid Parker CV/Parker Placements R2500 to update my CV, update job portals and look for a job for 60 days. I was assigned to Emma Burkley. Things started out fine but over time i realised that they were not doing work as agreed. I asked Emma for a refund and she said, "We did not force you to agree to the quote", she used electricity crisis and COVID as an excuse for their poor performance and then she ended the email with, "I trust you will do what is right and apologise for requesting a refund". Very professional response. I explained to her how refunds work and then she offered to give me a refund of 10 days left(+/-R284) because of all the reported work they had done already. That amount is a pittance considering what they had/hadn't done. I then discovered that she had done even less work than i thought. She had only updated my CV. I checked my LinkendIn profile and the career portals that i had given her were not updated. Even though i could see that my portals and LinkedIn had not been updated since last year, she said that they have proof of having updated them - the proof was never presented. Earlier on in the searching process, i asked her to prioritise applying on job portals, she gave me a date when they would start doing this and she never started on this. When i brought this up to her as i was asking for a refund she said that i should have brought it up and i told her that its not my job to micromanage promises that they've made to me. All the "proof" she presented were phones records(just prove that a call took place, not the contents), internal documents(biased, can be doctored) and her colleagues testimony(biased). I mean, i could ask my wife and daughter to prove whatever i need to be proven with their right hands on a stack of bibles. In the end, she told me to go to my lawyers, which shows the blatant disregard for customer service, customer opinion or the consequences of an unhappy customer. I'm disappointed that company could allow such an interaction to take place between an employee and a paying client.

I asked Parker Placement for help after my contract ended in June this year. They have a Job Search & Job Application Assistance Package where the Head-hunters in the Group basically take over the entire process of candidates applying for Job's. Paying the Fee is nothing compared to the salary I have been offered using the Companies Services again. I highly recommend Parker to anyone who has not been successful in finding a Job. They are always available to take a call and they truly care!

I asked Parker Placement for help after my contract ended in June this year. I have used Parker Placements for the 1st time in 2017 and again in 2020. With regards to their CV writing services I was happy with the services they provided me with. However the experience I had in February 2021 proved to be the extreme opposite. I paid Anne Verster approximately R3000 as a Head Hunter fee to help find me a suitable job after I was retrenched in December 2020. She did revamp my LinkedIn account and used some of my job portal login details to apply for jobs for me as well. Anne is a rude, arrogant, disrespectful and deceitful person who continuously lied to me after taking my money. She claims to have marketed my CV and profile to hundreds of companies. Whenever I questioned her for feedback to find out why after 1.5 months nobody was interested in speaking to me I was told it is because of the economy. She was always defensive and angry when her credibility was questioned. I was always having to phone her and follow up. Not once did she ever get back to me about anything. She has a staff member Stephanie who is her assistant. This woman from my experience was completely unhelpful, immature and incapable of interacting with me normally. During 1 conversation when I questioned what she was doing to help me she immediately cut the call and went straight to Anne telling her to deal with me. Needless to say I never spoke to her again. Since signing up.with Anne to this day no company has ever contacted me. My last conversation with her was in March. I also noticed that her number on WhatsApp is no longer active. I would never advise anyone to use this company for recruitment purposes. They do not have a business physical address last time I checked. Anne claims to be based in Sandton however there is no proof of that. There is also no way of knowing what she is doing to help you as her approach of "all talk (and most likely nonaction)" is what I had to put up with.

I had a vad experience with Parker Placement, I paid R1000 to Anne to help me look for a job, she and her team did nothing, I had to remind her worst part she would post jobs that matches my experience and qualifications and I will have to screen shot it and ask her about them, I've just wasted my money nothing good came. I had to remind her what do I want.

Parker Placement helped me to find a business contact a couple of months ago. As a start-up business I had limited business opportunities available. If you are not BEE Complaint in South Africa, you have no business. I started asking myself, how do I find new contracts? I phoned Sonja for advice and she mentioned that I should consider becoming a Shared Business Partner. Partnering with Parker Placement has helped transform my business in terms of becoming more attractive to corporate businesses. I now had access to an extensive client base. I had greater competitive advantage through cooperation, better opportunities of revenue, and a significant reduction in marketing and general costs.
