The most inferior milk brand in the country. Despite the best before date it always goes off before that. That stale smell and thickened texture is sickening. I will never buy this brand again.
During the months of July till September 2023 I have been getting harassed and hounded by Woolworths Financial Services for the smallest amounts of money on the planet. I have had a Woolworths account now for almost 20 years and have been a good, loyal and paying customer since. I spend a lot of money on my Woolworths account and expect respect in return. I always pay my accounts on time and do not take kindly to being bombarded with phone calls and SMS's unnecessarily. I am NOT and never was a bad payer and will not be treated in that manner. On 3 October I phoned the company and spoke to Shamima regarding my concerns. She apologized to me and said she would remove me from their SMS list. Unfortunately the phone calls and SMS's continued every month despite me paying more than what was due on my account at the end of every month. I received phone calls twice in DEcember and it got so bad that I had to block the company phone number on my phone to stop receiving phone calls saying my account is in arrears and I need to pay. When I questioned the agent regarding this conduct I was told that SMS's are sent by a different department and he knows nothing about it. How can you know nothing when you are phoning me for the same thing? I received more messages on 19 December 2023; 22 December 2023; 27 December 2023; 03 January 2024; 05 January 2024; 17 January 2024; 23 January 2024; 26 January 2024; 30 January 2024 and 02 February 2024. These messages were for amounts well under R100. The messages on 03 January and 05 January threatened to hand me over to the collections agency if payment of R50 was not made. The minimum payment I make when required at the end of the month is R300 via EFT. At the beginning of February 2024 I paid in R800. On the morning of 16 January 2024 I was at the Woolworths in La Lucia Mall. I addressed my concerns with Pinky who immediately apologized to me and understood that I wasn't at fault. She explained that she as a staff member gets the exact same treatment despite having a good payment record. This was shocking. She immediately contacted the call center and put me through to Karyn, who also turned out to be unhelpful despite me instructing her to remove me from the SMS list and only communicate with me on email. This instruction was never followed and the bombarding SMS's continued. I look forward to settling my Woolworths account in full soon and closing my account. Since the company does not appreciate my business or loyalty I have no reason to maintain this account. I'm not a person to knock a company publicly but in this case I want to expose this company for their shameful and underhanded tactics. I will be reporting this to the Financial Services Conduct Authority (FSCA) as this conduct is completely unacceptable and must be exposed.
I'm disappointed that we do not receive enough trading signals during the week. For the whole of last week we received only 1 signal. This is not enough to earn a decent trading income or recover the cost of the course. Furthermore the last 2 signals I traded resulted in losses of almost R1000. The above 2 factors are the major concerns in have at this stage.
I have used Parker Placements for the 1st time in 2017 and again in 2020. With regards to their CV writing services I was happy with the services they provided me with. However the experience I had in February 2021 proved to be the extreme opposite. I paid Anne Verster approximately R3000 as a Head Hunter fee to help find me a suitable job after I was retrenched in December 2020. She did revamp my LinkedIn account and used some of my job portal login details to apply for jobs for me as well. Anne is a rude, arrogant, disrespectful and deceitful person who continuously lied to me after taking my money. She claims to have marketed my CV and profile to hundreds of companies. Whenever I questioned her for feedback to find out why after 1.5 months nobody was interested in speaking to me I was told it is because of the economy. She was always defensive and angry when her credibility was questioned. I was always having to phone her and follow up. Not once did she ever get back to me about anything. She has a staff member Stephanie who is her assistant. This woman from my experience was completely unhelpful, immature and incapable of interacting with me normally. During 1 conversation when I questioned what she was doing to help me she immediately cut the call and went straight to Anne telling her to deal with me. Needless to say I never spoke to her again. Since signing up.with Anne to this day no company has ever contacted me. My last conversation with her was in March. I also noticed that her number on WhatsApp is no longer active. I would never advise anyone to use this company for recruitment purposes. They do not have a business physical address last time I checked. Anne claims to be based in Sandton however there is no proof of that. There is also no way of knowing what she is doing to help you as her approach of "all talk (and most likely nonaction)" is what I had to put up with.
Good Day All, This company is based in Umhlanga Ridge in Durban. They are a Recruitment Marketing Agency i.e. they claim to market your CV to companies overseas. They work in conjunction with a Czechoslovakian company trading under the same name. Whatever you do, DO NOT get caught in their web of lies. They claim to assist people with finding jobs overseas in various countries. They encourage you to keep applying for jobs they advertise on their website and they also "work with your profile to assist you in finding work in the countries of your choice." I signed up with this company in May 2017. I have applied for over 1000 jobs and have not received a single positive response. When I have questioned every staff member (including the owner himself) these people are arrogant and have an answer for everything. In the last 1.5 months I have sent a number of heated whatsapp messages to the owner directly - he keeps on ignoring my messages. These people just take your money and do nothing to assist. They give you false hope and make you constantly apply for jobs that actually don't exist. The details of the staff members who are at the front of this scam are: 1. Mr. Giri Vajdak. He is a Czech citizen and the owner of the business. His contact numbers are +420 601 229 228 or ********** . 2. Mrs. KC Naidoo. She is the office manager. Her contact numbers are ********** or ********** 536. Her email address is ********** 3. Miss Melissa Pillay. She is 1 of the in-house staff who is unhelpful and knows virtually nothing about her job. I hope this information is useful.
