Good morning I dispute that my review is factually incorrect. Perfect Getaways sent me an email offering me an advert. I clicked on the link and filled in the form to see how much it would cost. This resulted in me being sent an invoice. I was told that once I pay the invoice they would get started on producing an advert. The advert would then be sent to me to proof. I changed my mind after seeing their website and I was unimpressed. Their website is almost invisible when googling them and I failed to see any possible advantage of being listed on their site. This was justified when I couldn’t even contact them on the telephone listed. I therefore never paid the invoice. They therefore never produced an advert for me so I cannot see what they feel I owe them for. All that ever happened was that I showed interest but never confirmed by paying. How can they charge me for something they never did! This company is shocking as one cannot ever phone them. The number listed says “the number you have dialled does not exist”!!! I decided to pay the R748.33 for absolutely nothing in order to maintain my credit rep. however I did this against my will and paid for something I certainly don’t want. I did this thinking that this would be the end of this ridiculous experience only to receive another sms from Credit Intel telling me that I now owe R97.49!!!! I mean seriously. I then tried to phone Perfect Getaways to ask them why they are continuously charging me for something I DO NOT want and that’s when I found that the phone number listed on their website does not exist. I asked them to call me and received a sms to say they tried but they are in an area with bad signal. How professional is that?? They have now sent me a statement from Credit Intel stating that I owe nothing and the account has a zero balance. This entire experience has been a disaster and the fact that they just generate an invoice and the force one to pay for it while never being available by telephone so that one can contact them is in my opinion extremely unprofessional and dishonest to say the least. You are free to remove my review as I have already shared my experience with all my colleagues in the industry.

BEWARE OF SHARKS! Watch out for the small print. A year after advertising I received an email with a bill attached, stating "our design teams are currently adding new establishments onto our website. We need to start the design and upload on your advert, however we are awaiting payment from you." Not having a budget nor the desire to advertise with Perfect Getaway, I ignored the emails and payment reminders until I eventually got a threat "that any collection costs with Credit Intel, will be for your account in terms with the debt collection act, should no payment be made." It's really s****ing the barrel when PERFECT GETAWAYS business strategy is to bully clients and force them to advertise despite their objection.

I was sent an email by Perfect Getaways introducing themselves and offering to advertise my business. It said to click and complete a form. I was interested in how much exactly it would cost so i completed the form. They then sent me an invoice. It said that after they receive payment they will design a advert and send it to me to proof. I never paid the invoice as i changed my mind but they are now demanding payment and have handed me over to a collection agency who have now added costs. They are in effect charging me for something they haven't even done and if they did do it they would have obtained all the info and photos from my own website. Apparently because i didn't write an email to cancel, they have assumed the order stands. Fact still remains that they have not done ANYTHING to earn the money! Be very careful when receiving an email from "Perfect Getaways". They approached me not the other way around. I filled in the form to see what the exact cost would be and then reconsidered. I assumed that since they hadn't actually supplied me with anything that my non payment would be considered my cancellation. It must be quite lucrative to send people emails inviting them to click if they interested and then bill them for being interested and not do anything further to earn the actual payment! I will pay this amount in order to protect my credit reputation but lets be very clear, I consider this extortion and will never do business with a company like this. I will make an effort to warn all my colleagues in the Hospitality industry of their business practice.
