TODAY, THIS MORNING after speaking with Saabierah. Ref: 332016 about the PVR function being faulty, she instructed me to go and exchange my OpenView decoder and usb at the store where I purchased it. I complied. Within 2 hours the exchange took place and the newest decoder was up and running in my home HOWEVER, at 8:15am whilst I still had the older but still one month old decoder at home the SIGNAL STRENGTH was stable at 100%. With the brand new decoder our SIGNAL STRENGTH is now only 64%. I messaged OpenView on FB to query this at 10:41am and when they FINALLY made time to respond at 17:29, this is what they came up with...Hi Sean, your signal Strength can be fixed by an installer who has to realign the dish, for you not to have any interrupted viewing both your strength and quality have to be 85% and above.
Seriously This is completely implausible My first OV decoder was a month old with 100% signal. My second decoder was a mere hour plus old but now the signal is mysteriously 64%.....without the dish EVER being fiddled with. And to add injury to insult Saabierah says OpenView only has one person responsible for the entire companies online social media queries. No, buying OV is not just a once off as is being promised!!!!
