Think Twice About Joining PlaymoreGolf (PMG)
If anyone is considering joining playmoregolf (PMG), think twice! Their packages on the website and sales people (Juan) are misleading, which you only find out after you have signed the contract and want to book a game. I mentioned to the sales person (Juan) that I was interested in playing golf twice a month BUT would like to walk the course and not use a cart. Conveniently, Juan failed to mention that all the courses in close proximity to me require PMG customers to take carts so that they make their money. It would be cheaper to book directly with the golf course. Upon finding this out, and without playing a single round of golf, I exercised my right to cancel my contract and receive a FULL refund within 30 days (which is guaranteed). Well, I received a partial refund and have been struggling ever since to get the outstanding amount. I am shoved from pillar and post between Juan and the call centre. They assured me that the money would been loaded and transferred by Friday (This was 3 Fridays ago). It is evident that they are lying to me. I want to escalate the matter but nobody bothers to contact me back. There are A LOT of posts mentioning problems with PMG. I wish I had done my research. You have been warned, don't become another statistic!

I can't leave it at this. I have to respond to your reply so people are aware of what they might be getting themselves into if they consider joining PMG. In our conversation, I said to you as I did in writing to Juan, that when the mistake was brought to your attention, the outstanding amount should have been paid soonest and not treated as another refund. Why should I be out of pocket for your mistake? Although the amount is small, it is money that does not belong to PMG but belongs to me. Even if it were 10 cents, that money does not belong to PMG and should be paid to the rightful owner. Am I wrong? If Juan was honest with me and said that the outstanding amount will be paid at the end of the month, I wouldn't be happy about it but I would have accepted it. The fact that he chose to be dishonest on more than one occasion has led to this. The fact that you disclosed the outstanding amount shows the professionalism people can expect from PMG. It is too easy for companies to walk all over people nowadays but they should remember that customers pay their salaries and keep their businesses afloat. Know, that I will be back posting if MY money does not reflect in my bank account at the end of the month.
