Refund

I would like to lay a complaint on behalf of my mother. She bought a pair of shoes last week with her check card, she wore them once, and then they broke. She is a small in stature lady and so these shoes straps should not have broken this easily. She took the shoes back today for a cash return, but they would only offer her a voucher even though she could prove that she bought the shoes there according to her bank statement and the detail on the box. She didn’t want the voucher, as she does not intend to shop there again. They would not help her except with a voucher. The service was extremely poor. They wanted her personal details as well which she was unwilling to provide after their bad service. If someone can prove that they bought something and it broke it should be completely refundable without questions asked. That’s how you keep customers.
