I have been waiting for Poly Pools to repair my pool since I made payment for this service on the 23rd January this year. I was told this job could be done and I was to make payment before they arrive to do it. 5 months later, I am still waiting! When I enquire about when their team will arrive to do the work, my WhatsApps go unanswered. When I phone, I am told numerous excuses from rain to vehicles broken down. Their customer service and after-sales service is non-existent. They are quick to take your money but provide zero service thereafter. Today, on the 8th May, I am told they actually do not do repairs to their own poly liner installed swimming pools! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

One star is generous for this Company. Mike Downey doest answer his phone: They don't answer emails, zero response. I put down a deposit to have the lining in my pool replaced. Mr Downey then informed he he would have to remeasure, after I accepted his quote. Months later, not a word. Nothing, nada, zilch! So I have asked for my deposit returned and I will find another solution. Again no answer. I have no option to engage legal counsel on this matte. Do not do business with Poly Pools! You will regret it

No stars at all for poly pools also poly blinds as it has the same owner. Mike from poly pools is not honouring his warranty on his product and does not get back to you as a customer after he makes promises of resolving and honouring a promised claim due to a faulty product and installing the product incorrectly. He doesn't answer my calm on his business number, or mobile number and not even through his workers. He promised to honour his guarantee but his promise is empty. Mike the owner must contact me and commit to his statements made to his customers. This is also not the first time, but the 3rd time, I make contact with me and resolve my pool lining cracking and tearing, then I will have this complaint removed. I'm also available to share my messages and emails with no reply from Mike the owner. Bad service with no support and lies in his business with no sense owning up to promises made with faulty product and installation

Shocking service. The whole experience of dealing with this unprofessional company, led by a bully, was stressful. They took weeks to finish the installation as they would come to site for 1 day then disappear for 3...with no communication. We had to makes numerous calls to reach someone to find out why they weren't on site and all we received were excuses....and no apologies. The pool lining eventually tore after a short time, and they didnt respond to our messages and calls, so never came to repair it. We've had to reline the pool (not in vinyl!) at our own expense. When I complaind and put a bad review on their website I was threatened by Mike to take it off.

THIS IS A FOLLOW UP OF MY REVIEW IN fEBRUARY 2020 Attention: Mike, Kristy, Edita (and NSPI Gauteng copied) POLY GROUP AND ITS SUBSIDIARY COMPANIES Re: Reservoir Lining – Elsie Jammy Since my initial complaint of reservoir lining deterioration, tearing and lastly full deterioration needing replacement, it has been 14 months. I will not go into the details and each step taken to get to satisfaction of the guarantee given. My step to involve NSPI of which Poly-Pools is a member was a last resort due to the fact I was poorly dealt with and in the fact that Mike ended my call and refused further communication. That was in February this year. After a lot of correspondence and my need to use other medias to gain results, I received a call and a quotation from Poly Pools. Mike wanted to assure me of his best services to come. The pvc lining company was prepared to issue a discount. This was not stipulated on quote. After the promise of an updated quotation to meet my requirements nothing has been forthcoming since the promise 26 June 2020. Mike and Kristy, it seems your company is never going to meet its responsibilities even through I was prepared to pay for your exorbitant quotation. I refer below to Kristy’s notification on Thursday July 23 that Edita was going to have a quote with explanation to me by Friday afternoon. May I ask WHICH Friday? 24 July? 31 July? 7 August? Or any Friday after???? SEEMS NO HEAD OF DEPARTMENTS ARE FOLLOWING THROUGH. You have done a good job of ignoring me. Any guarantee is not worth the paper it is written on due to your despicable handling of the consumer. I rue the day I ever used the services of Poly Pools. I thought you were a reputable company. You are a member of NSPI. Mike was very big deal when he came 5 years ago. I have never been treated so poorly as a consumer from a service provider. And I am using the words sarcastically. I would highly recommend to NSPI to immediately remove the membership of Poly Group and all its subsidiary companies. That company is an absolutely disgrace to the NSPI. Should that not happen, then the whole logo that is displayed on letterheads is a joke. NSPI members have no qualms in not adhering to protocol of good service. I will continue my quest in making public the despicable way in which your company has treated me in the hope that no other will be taken for a ride. Take heed that the smaller consumer is as important as the bigger ones. In fact we keep things ticking in these sad days. So glad to find a trustworthy pool company after watching cart Blanche and the things than can go Wrong. So glad that we got recommendations from the national pool institute before going ahead. Would recommend to everybody especially for renovations of old pools.

Just a big thank you for Mike and his professional team. For day 1 till the end I was updated by Mike about the progress. I have so many complements from family and friends about my pool.
