An arrogant ripoff
Owner/Manager? was knowledgeable but very arrogant. When questioning why the PostNet website advertised a courier fee of R450 to courier to Namibia, yet their cost was R776. Their response was as a Franchise we can charge what we like, fundamentally take it or leave it. Additionally, their attitude to another lady who was wanting assistance with printing a photo for a VISA downright rude. Will not be using them.

Excellent service
I visited Sandton City Postnet today to get visa photos and documents printed, and I have to say, this location is always buzzing with activity. It seems like everyone who needs documents or photos for the US consulate heads there, which just goes to show how trusted they are. I had the pleasure of being helped by a wonderful woman named Christal (I believe), and she truly made the experience stand out. Christal was not only incredibly friendly but also had such a warm, bubbly personality that made the busy atmosphere feel much more relaxed. She efficiently and calmly assisted me in getting all the correct documents printed, ensuring I had everything I needed in time for my appointment. A big thank you to the whole team for providing such excellent service — you guys are fantastic! Keep up the great work

Excellent service
I visited Sandton City Postnet today to get visa photos and documents printed, and I have to say, this location is always buzzing with activity. Refused to assist me
I went in to email and make copies. A lady assisted me with the email then got onto the phone. She went to the back of the store and was on the phone for about 20 min. She eventually moved back to the counter and started doing something else while on the phone. So I got very angry for waiting 20min and asked very agitated if she can make me copies too. She told me that she is busy and blatantly refused to help me. That's my punishment for getting angry at her I guess. I will never set foot in sandton mall postnet ever again.

PostNet Courier Sandton City Poor Service
I'm extremely disappointed with the appealing service I received at PostNet Sandton City. It is not enough that they were staring at me while I waited to be attended to while they had a gossip session, but when they finally felt like attending to me they completely uncourteous and showed no care. They didn't greet nor show concern that a client had been standing there for 10 minutes while they were loitering in the shop. The employee that assisted me didn't even greet but asked rudely "what do you want to be helped with" after having to demand assistance. They didn't even care to tell me my charge for the service they simply just pointed the speed point at me to tap and pay. I've had a great experience with PostNet each and every time I used their services at Northmead and Pretoria CBD.. but Sandton.. I will never set foot there after this terrible experience

Lack of urgency
I called this morning to ask if my visa has been collected and the gentleman working there asked me when should it be collected, I told him today and he said “oh then it must have been collected”. I expressed my urgency since my flight has been booked already and I haven’t received any tracking information to confirm that my visa has been collected! No email, no calling….nothing! I’m solely disappointed in the lack of urgency the store has.

Cannot Answer A Simple Question
I phoned this morning to find out how much it would cost for PostNet to send someone to the China Visa Centre in Sandton City to collect my passport. I could not get a straight answer. I needed to know that answer before discussing subsequent logistical arrangements. If the staff member is unable to answer such a basic question, can I even trust PostNet to collect the passport? They might organise my passport and my visa to go missing if they are unable to even answer one simple question that I repeatedly tried to get an answer for. Instead of making a sale by answering a question, the person kept interrupting with what she wanted to say and without telling me what I needed to find out first.

Fragile Parcel not handled with care
I sent a package (vase) from Postnet Sandton to Windermere Durban. The package arrived on time however it was broken. I’m extremely disappointed because I requested that the parcel be marked fragile. I now need to purchase a brand new vase. I’m never using Postnet Sandton again as the staff don’t pay attention to requests, had the person assisting me out the fragile sticker the parcel would have been handled with care. The only thing he kept asking me if I want insurance, because I did not pick that option my parcel was damaged.

Postnet Sandton City are simply the BEST
They are AMAZING!!!! Excellent customer service, very affordable and on time. I had to just come here and leave a review because they deserve it. I needed a parcel to be delivered from Sandton to Witbank and they got it done! Thank you. Highly recommended.

Postnet Sandton City are simply the BEST
