I app**** for some posts at prasa through an email and the response I got is shocking 😲 Here's what it says: Hello applicant We successfully received your application at Prasa (Passenger Rail Agency Of South Africa) we will review your application and respond back to you. If you're interested in this job opportunity, there's someone who's in charge of application selection. So if you are interested and you can manage to talk to him, you can tell me then I will give you his contact details so that you can talk with him. But he needs R1000 because you don't do an interview, he can assist your application to get this job opportunity without doing an interview and if you are interested I can give you his number but if you don't understand it you can wait for your application to be selected for an interview then you will do an interview. My name is Vela Huza and I have been using trains since the days of the old trains that has been recently replaced by the new ones. I am staying in Khayelitsha in the Western Cape hence I am using the Central line but something that I view as highly unacceptable is happening at the central line platforms. People are allowed to stand in numbers in front of the train doors before it opens just minutes before departure and you will see chaos when commuters push each other in order to get the first seat available. Why are the trains opened in time just like in other platforms for other commuters from various areas except Khayelitsha, I call it selective treatment of commuters and it has a racial feel in it. Please open all the trains then the first commuter gets the first seat, finish and klaar. They claim that people from Khayelitsha eat in the Trains, then get security guys to sort that out. Please.

PRASA TIMES APP CAPE TOWN: NOT EXISTING. I TRIED TO FIND TRAIN TIMES FOR SOUTHER SUBURBS. APP INDICATES NO TRAINS AVAILABLE. I LIVE NEXT TO THE RAILWAY LINE. TRAINS EXISTS. TRAIN TIMES. ALTHOUGH AT STATIONS THERE ARE TRAIN TIMES, BUT ALL TRAINS ARRIVES AT DIFFERENT TIMES. I AM A PENSIONER. IWALKED TO THE DIEP RIVER STATION. ARRIVED AT 10.25AM, BOUGHT A TICKET, CROSSED THE RAILWAY BRIDGE AND TRAIN ARRIVES AT 10.30AM . ORIGINAL TIME INDICATED WAS 11.40. IT LEFT WHILE I WAS ARRIVING ON THE OTHER SIDE. Prasa started to work efficiently for us until last week 24 November when they changed the 2500 Kraaifontein train to a ****** Wellington. We are on the station from past 5 in the morning as the train used to come @ 05h40 on Eikenfontein and we arrive @ Cape Town station 06h50 now the train comes so late it stops anytime from 06h00 and we arrive in Town from 7h10 and later. You people making the changes don't use the trains like we do and you don't see what is happening the train is always late now and it is over crowded. Do you think it is fair to get to work late everyday and being on the verge of being disciplined because you make stupid changes, you changed something that worked properly. I will make sure to make this a big thing as you guys don't even take note of our complaints. Give back our 2500 train that must come @ 5h40 we are paying customers and you do just as you please with us. Not fair at least let something work properly in this country.
