False advertising. Francois stole all our money, promised to pay it back and does not answer calls and emails. They did not pay for the hotel or book our flights . Not to be trusted . Run as far as you can. Carte Blanche on their way soon to see these so called travel agents. We will get our money back.

On a very good special we booked and paid for an all inclusive Maldives Package in June 2018. Shortly before to our departure I had emergency surgery on my abdomen and had to cancel our trip due to Doctor’s orders. Francois, owner of Priority travel was incredibly understanding snd helpful and told me that we could go in February 2019 with no extra charges but just a small fee for changing the Emirates flights. Shortly before our holiday was due, I contacted Priority to get our new booking details for flights etc. Things started changing completely. Priority told us there was a mistake and that we had to pay and extra amount (almost as much as the initial trip was.)The end result was that, according to the consumer act, if a person is hospitalized, the travel agent has to refund the traveller in full. I appointed lawyers who took out a court order against Priority Travel. In the end Priority Travel agreed to pay back every cent they owe us, plus interest, plus all lawyers fees and all other costs until everything is paid, as they want to pay us off in installments of R10000 per month. I also had to delete the note I sent to HelloPeter about this matter. (Which I did) Up till this very moment I have not received any payments from Priority Travel or their lawyers, as promised. I have no idea when this matter will be finalized, but Since June 2018 I am out of pocket with almost R50000 and no holiday either. What can I do? I thought I can trust them after the lawyers had made promises. The worst service ever. They can just come to the table and give is our holiday if they cannor refund us. What about interest and lawyer’s costs 2 years down the line. How can you ever book a trip with them if this is the type of service? The one moment all is fine, and the next they cannot stick to their promises.

Priority Travel owe us more than R50000 since November 2018. Their lawyers confirmed that they will refund us, with interest as well as all legal fees. They have since moved premises and changed their name to Priority Escapes. Once again the sheriff now need to go and write up the value of the office equipment in order to take possession for resale to cover costs. They are not to br trusted st all. Particularly Francois, the owner. The previous time the lawyers made me remove my review, otherwise they were not going to refund us.

We booked a Maldives holiday through Priority Travel in 2018 at a very good price. Paid immediately in full. 2 weeks prior to our departure I had an emergency operation in my gut, and was told by my dr that I am not allowed to go on the holiday. I contacted Francois and sent him the proof. He phoned me back and said we could go at a later date, at the same price. No changes what so ever, except for a pay up on the flight tickets. Closer to the dates I started asking for flight tickets, bookings, etc. I was told that we need to pay extra for the package as well. The price being almost double of the previous trip. After a very long saga, and sending Francois facts of the consumer act, protecting the client in such a case, he agreed, in writing to fully refund us. It is now more than a year later since he was going to pay. Lawyers have taken action and the sheriff will take possession of his office equipment soon, in order to get the money he owes us. As a result, Priority Travel is Black Listed.

This is by far the worst experience I ever had with a travel agency. I phoned Priority Travel and spoke to Dominic Linnetts on several occasions. I could get my plane tickets cheaper booking it myself and therefore opt for that option. They had a special advertised for Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai We decided to go to Dubai only because of this special advertised. We never take leave over the school holidays, but this time we booked in school holidays because of the time the special was valid. I called Dominic a couple of times and he assured me that everything is under control. My last mail was: "My big concern is that we decided on this holiday because of the special for Atlantic, The Palm Hotel. The additional days are basically an add-on to our main objective to stay at the Atlantic The Palm. We bought the plane tickets as you know. That is non-refundable and we booked another 4 days at the Atlana Hotel. We have no purpose to go on this break unless we get that special that was advertised and you gave me a quote for R16 904 for 3 night, on a dinner, bed and breakfast, transfers and drinks with dinner basis." After this e-mail I did not hear back from him although he made all the promises and I made the bookings and bought the plane tickets. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service that I received from Dominic Linnetts and I will never make use of Priority Travel again and will certainly not recommend them at all.
