ALWAYS THE BEST!
We had an absolutely amazing experience at The Hussar Grill. The food was excellent and the service was just as impressive. This is definitely my go-to restaurant for any special occasion. A special mention to our waiter, Elliot, who provided outstanding service and made us feel very welcome. I also really appreciated that the chef, Joseph, personally assisted with my dietary requirements. That level of care really made the experience exceptional. The meal was incredible, the atmosphere was perfect, and the fact that you can bring your own wine is a big bonus. The complimentary cheesecake at the end was the perfect finishing touch! Overall, a 10/10 experience. I will definitely keep coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality dining experience.

EXCELLENT STAY
We had an absolutely fantastic time during our weekend stay at the 12 Apostles Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and exceptionally well taken care of. The team assisted us with valet parking, handled our luggage seamlessly, and made the check-in process effortless. On our first evening, we decided to go to Camps Bay for dinner — a choice we later wished we had reconsidered. Thankfully, we were transported safely and comfortably by JJ throughout our stay. He took us to Camps Bay, the Waterfront, and back, and he was an absolute delight — professional, friendly, and truly outstanding. The following evening, we dined at the Azure Restaurant, and it turned out to be the highlight of our trip. I am on a very specific diet, and the chef prepared a customised dish for me that easily deserves a 12/10. It was one of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time, and I immediately regretted not dining at the hotel on the first night as well. Our waiter for dinner, Theo, provided exceptional service. He took our requests perfectly and ensured our experience was flawless from start to finish. We also appreciated the thoughtful check-ins from Pius, the Experience Manager, who made sure everything met our expectations throughout our stay. Despite the windy weather, we even managed to enjoy the pool area, which is surprisingly well sheltered and a lovely spot to relax. Overall, our stay was exceptional on every level — from the service and food to the attention to detail. We left feeling cared for and truly impressed. We can’t wait to return!

Excellent Service
#BlackFriday I recently had the pleasure of being assisted by Karabo Maswangang from Thompsons Travel with my booking at the Twelve Apostles in Cape Town. Her service was exceptional. She was proactive, highly efficient, and I was truly impressed by her professionalism throughout the process. I received all the necessary documentation immediately after my enquiry, and every question I had was answered promptly and thoroughly. I can wholeheartedly recommend Karabo and Thompsons Travel for any travel arrangements. It was an absolute pleasure working with her, and I would gladly do so again in the future.

Amazed every time

EXCELLENT SERVICE
I made a call to Discovery Insure to see if there was any way that they could lower our premiums. As pensioners it is hard to come by with all that is needed to pay. I was lucky to get Mamabhlale Lenong on the line. She tried to negotiate a lower premium with her senior, but without any success. We had more items to load and other to take off and at the end of the conversation, I asked her again if there was no way to lower our premium. She put me on hold and came back with the good news to lower the premium with R400pm. We are so grateful for her help, patience and excellent service that she provided. She also sent us the updated information after our call. Thank you again Mmabohlala! We really appreciate your help.

Lovely stay
We were on our way to have a cruise holiday and stayed at the Plaka Hotel in Athens before we embarked on the ship. The staff were extremely friendly, especially Tatiana. But they were all excellent and also booked a taxi for us to take us to the port the next day. The rooms are comfortable and there is a restaurant on the top of the building from where you have the most beautiful view of the Acropolis. The breakfast was delicious, and they also make provision for gluten free. We had a lovely stay and would definitely go back if we would go back to Greece.

The best in the north
This is the second time we went to Upington on business. I have a kidney problem and can only eat certain foods, with no salt added. (NO meats, chicken, fish, cheese) On arrival I asked the manager, William, if they could help me and they gave me a WOW of a meal. The second night was even better because they were prepared for me. Going to Upington, I will not go to any other restaurant! This is the best place to go and the fact that they go above and beyond to accommodate their customers is outstanding service. The waiters are professional, and it is really a memorable experience definitely to be repeated. Highly recommended.

Discovery Insure is the proven to be the Best!
I always say, a company is as good as it is when you need them. Unfortunately with Insurance companies you would normally have a bad experience when it is time to claim for damages. BUT I was pleasantly surprised with the professional way the assessor dealt with our case. He came out, assess the damages and explained in detail why they would pay for certain damages and not pay for others. But I must say most of our claim was covered. The assessor, Marthinus Louw, communicated with me regarding all aspects of the claim and payment was finalized in 2 days! We are extremely impressed with the entire process followed by the assessor. We can whole heartedly recommend Discovery Insure!

What a Win-ner
We stayed for 2 nights. On arrival we were welcomed and taken to our room. The room was spacious and very beautiful with a beautiful view over the garden towards the Orange River. There were a few springboks roaming around and the garden has 2 swimming pools. We had a spacious balcony. Laurinda as well as the other lady at reception and the kitchen staff really looked well after us and when we left at 04h00 in the morning we had a whole breakfast that lasted for us for the day on our way back. We can strongly recommend this Lodge to stay. It is a Win-ner! In future we will always book here when we need to go to Upington. Thank you for looking after us!

Stars still exist!
I, in fact would like to review a person working for Discovery Insure. I called today after a few attempts to get the right information (this was the 3rd time) and I was fortunate to get Nomfundo on the line. If I ever had anybody going out of her way to help me completely to what I need, it was today. This girl stayed on the line and made sure that the person on the other side gave me the correct information. She is absolutely professional and very competent in her work. I wish all people would be like that. It would make the world a wonderful place. Thank you so much for helping me the way you did. You are an absolute star!
