Body Corporate of Terror! “Un”Pro Admin!

I’m honestly beyond frustrated with the way my body corporate has handled a roof leak coming from the unit above mine. I reported the issue back in March, and we’re now in October, yet nothing has been done to fix it.

I’ve sent countless follow-ups and been told the matter was “escalated to the trustees,” but there’s been no progress, no communication and no urgency. Meanwhile, the water damage has spread from my ceiling to my walls, and the condition of my unit just keeps getting worse.

This level of neglect and poor service is completely unacceptable. Seven months is more than enough time to attend to a maintenance issue that clearly falls under their responsibility.

If you’re considering buying or renting where they are the body corporate , be aware! Getting any issue resolved is an uphill battle.
