We moved to this Managing Agent recently. Most of us get paid on the 15th and we all had written agreements with ALL previous Managing Agents, who accommodate owners who get paid on the 15th. For many years, we experience no problems at all. Our levy roll, and payment history clearly stated what date payments was made. With the handover, we as owners was not informed that they had ONLY ONE debit order date. This leave most owners with this handover in "arrears" and interest is being charged, different amounts, for "late payment". If this was communicate to us prior to the handover, we will not even shortlisted this Managing Agent. Lack of communication, and we ended up with levy statement showing amount plus interest. Why is that they had to heart, and accommodate all owners, keep in mind of all the different pay days. Wish we never met these people. If only they communicate this with us prior by sending us statements with interest. THIS WAS NOT COMMUNICATE AT ALL. YES WE DO READ AND UNDERSTAND THE WELCOME LETTER, but we 'assume' our arrangements will still be in place after the handover. IF ONLY WE KNOW THIS EARLIER.
