First time staying at Town Lodge Polokwane (7 May 2024) and it will be my last. I am used to good service from this group but this specific hotel is letting the brand down. I discussed the issues with Thapelo (at reception) and his reply was that there are many issues at this hotel that they have reported the challenges to head office and that we should contact head office. The General Manager, Ditau Masemola was not in (9:00 on the 8th May 2024) the hotel when we asked to discuss our experience with him. It was clear to me that the staff has no answers to the ongoing issues wrt warm water etc. I feel sorry for them. 1. Luke warm water in both rooms (ongoing problem according to the staff) 2. Foul smell in the bathroom (308) 3. No TV remote in room 308 4. Quality of DSTV horrible; many stations not working 5. The battery of the safe needed replacement 6. Vending machine out of order (according to the dirty, horrible and torn paper sign posted on it....also an ongoing problem). It seems that leadership and care for client experience is lacking in the hotel. SAD SAD SAD to report that about a dignified brand like City Lodge HG.
Hallo, my Claims Consultant at DISCOVERY INSURE Camaren Chutherpal has avoided and failed to answer an email sent to him on the 8th of Feb and after sending him more than a 100 mails today requesting him to contact me. I have tried without success for 90 minutes today to make contact with him via the DISCOVERY INSURE contact centre number, which is presented below his digital signature. I made recordings of the calls. He is failing to make contact with me. No Supervisor or Line Manager was available to speak with me. Only email addresses were offered. Disgraceful service from a reputable company. Please investigate and make urgent contact with me, your client.
<p>Paid R 625 for an extra view installation only to find that it is not working. Trying to get the company to come out and correct their mistake. Lousy attitude: I have to wait until tomorrow. <p>Cant redeem R1000 voucher either via ussd or email. Call centre said email is the only way and I must just wait!!!!</p>
