I have a nephew who goes to school at Ekurhuleni West College. He went to the offices to get his academic record printed out and they told him they don't have papers to print it out. And he is taking it upon himself to look for papers to take to the school to get his academic record printed out. How does that even make sense, are you telling me the whole school doesn't have papers for printing. And this is not the first time something like this has happened, that school is always sending him from pillar to post when he asks for help. This is something that needs to be looked at, this is not professional. Now he has to go home to take those papers, come back tomorrow and print it out, this is something he should have done today. He has to spent money he doesn't have just to go back to print out.
I went to a telkom store 2 weeks ago to transfer my contract package to my prepaid number and they told me it was going to take 72 hours. More than 72 hours later I found out that they changed it to the wrong number, they changed it to a data only Sim card. I called after I found out, I was told to go to a telkom store to change it to the right Sim card , which I did last week Tuesday and again I was told it would take 72 hours. It has been more than that and I have been calling and calling but I have been receiving different answers. I called on Saturday I was told the people responsible for that don't work on weekends, I should get back to them on Monday. I called back again on Monday and I was transferred to the contract department and I was on the line for 10 minutes without any help until I hung up. I called in today and I was told that I need to go a telkom store and change it there. Even if I go to a telkom store they will log a case and give me a reference number and I will have to call the call center to find out the progress. I have been sent from pillar to post for two weeks by people who work at Telkom telling me different things, and I don't know what to do, but all I know is I want my number back. I have used that number for years and I have used it to open accounts, look for jobs, at work I use it so when they need me they will get hold of me, I'm already getting in trouble at work because when I get called they can't get hold of me, I'm sick and tired of calling for the same thing over and over again. At this point I don't know what to do because I'm getting different answers, but all I know is I want my number back, I'm not going to change my whole life because someone made a mistake and now I have to pay for it.
I logged a claim for repairs to my car that was damaged by rats, at first my experience was really bad because the person who initially helped me was not really much help. I had to call in everyday to ask about the progress of my claim until Kabelo Modipa took my call and helped me in ways I could never imagine. It took him him a couple of hours to help me out with everything and things turned out great. I thank him for going the extra mile for me.
A friend of mine went to Telkom to buy a phone on contract and he was told that they did not have it anymore and that they have to order it, dont know from where? My questions are, how long does it take for the phone (s) to be delivered to the store and if they are ordered when they are bought ?
<p>I went to The Fix in Tembisa, Birch Mall and I wanted to exchange a beannie that I was given by my boyfriend and the lady I spoke to said they dont do any exchanges and she said that I would have to speak to their Manager but at that time she was not available and I should come back later, I never went back. My question is, is it true that the Fix dont do exchanges and if the Manager was not there arent they supposed to put someone in charger while she was not around? </p>
