My car was not starting while in Cape Town and the response was very professional and efficient. I had a break in at my house in East London last year and the service was also quick and efficient right from the first call.
My tenant at my house had a burglary and his door and security door were damaged. Auto and General were immediately responsive and secured the property for the night while assessors will come tomorrow. I am very happy with their service.
Though I am happy with most Spars, I am disappointed that they do not cater very much for vegans. There is no vegan cheese and very little variety of vegan meat. I am also very disappointed in Spar Nahoon food especially Sunday lunches as they are tasteless and seem to be cooked without being tested.
<p>I had bought gold silver and platinum over a couple years and paid with a Debit Order of R300 per month. I decided to claim my gold etc and close my account. That was December 2014. As it was taking so long for me to receive my silver (they had suggested that I take only silver as there was too little gold), I took them up on the offer of sending me the money instead. To date I have received only approx. R1000. What is happening to people who have paid huge sums over many years? What access does one have to one's records and how does one recover one's money?</p>
