FORMAL COMPLAINT SUBMITTED: ******* AND UNFAIR TREATMENT OF MINOR BY ROADSIDE BOYS,274 Rokewood st, Pomona, Kemptonpark, 1619, 011 396 3506 Regarding: Nathan de Lange (16 years old) Employment Start Date: 12 March 2025 Termination Date: 15 April 2025 Submitted by: Riaan de Lange (Parent of Nathan) To the CCMA, Department of Labour, media platforms, and the general public: This is an official complaint regarding the ******** and exploitative treatment of my 16-year-old son, Nathan de Lange, by Roadside Boys. Nathan began work on 12 March 2025, the same day he was interviewed. He was enthusiastic, driven, and committed. Initially supervised by an employee named Jacques—who later resigned due to unacceptable working conditions and unpaid overtime—Nathan continued working under poor conditions. Nathan is legally a minor and may not sign an employment contract without the consent or presence of a parent or guardian. Nevertheless, a contract was allegedly signed without our involvement. Repeated requests to obtain a copy of this contract have been ignored by office personnel and Werner, a person clearly acting in a managerial capacity. On 15 April 2025, Nathan was dismissed via WhatsApp while already on site. The message read: “Morning Nathan Nathan you are in a 3-month probation period now. I think it’s better if you rather stop.” This came after working 15+ hours on the previous Saturday, including late-night labour involving fiberglass exposure without proper safety gear, no rest, and no supervision. He became physically ill and mentally exhausted. We, as his parents, prohibited him from working on Sunday, 13 April, due to his condition. Violations committed by Roadside Boys include: Employing a minor without legal parental consent No formal employment contract provided to parents Excessive working hours (over 12 hours per day on several occasions) No rest periods or supervision No overtime agreements or overtime pay No payslips or proof of payment Dismissal without due process or documentation Exposure to hazardous materials (fiberglass) without PPE After the dismissal, I contacted Werner directly and requested: A copy of the signed employment contract Payslips for all worked hours A formal letter of dismissal Despite multiple promises, none of these documents have been received. I have retained WhatsApp communications as evidence, which are being submitted alongside this complaint. Werner attempted to discredit my son’s character in messages—irrelevant to the ******* conduct carried out against a minor under his company’s care. Action to be taken: As of today, will: Filed a formal complaint with the CCMA Reported the incident to the Department of Labour Begun public documentation of the case on social media and other platforms Started compiling evidence for press release distribution Roadside Boys poses a danger to South African youth—physically, emotionally, and legally. We are also aware of additional incidents, including unsafe trailer work without qualified supervision. This statement is being shared to ensure transparency, protect other young workers, and hold those in charge accountable. Our internet went off on Thursday 20 February due to maintenance. Maintenance was supposed to end Friday 21 February at 14:00. Today is MONDAY 24 February AND WE ARE STILL WITHOUT SERVICE!!!! Have spoken to agents on what's app numerous times since Friday, but they are of no help. This is completely UNACCEPTABLE to have to pay for a service that we ARE NOT RECEIVING!!!!! We have had NO INTERNET for 5 days. Have had to buy data to be able to use our phones. This needs to be sorted out ASAP!

We have been Telkom customers for many years, but CAN NOT wait until our contracts end so we can leave Telkom!! Apparently both my husband and I have " subscribed" to Audiobooks @ R3 per day. We NEVER subscribed to this, nor go into any links. Yet we are billed for this " service" that we DID NOT ASK FOR OR AGREE TO !! When both of us have tried stopping this service via *179*7867# it says unsubscribed and THEN SUBSCRIBES AGAIN ALL ON ITS OWN, AGAIN WITH NO AGREEMENT FROM US. Calling Telkom agents to get this sorted out is BEYOND frustrating as they don't know what to do or use the excuse that the system is hanging they can't do anything now. Pathetic is an understatement!!!!! Telkom YOU ARE STEALING OUR MONEY, AND THIS HAS TO STOP!!

Worst experience ever. Made an order for delivery at 17:50 on the website. Store Faramere. It is now 20:22 and still no delivery!!! Pathetic service and we will not be supporting Pizza hut again!! Been promised a call back and still nothing. More than 2 and a half hours later the driver pitches up. Already had to make plan for kids to eat and get to bed.
We joined Dc experts a few months ago. We have an overdraft connected to our bank acc. For months now we have phoned our counselor and also another lady trying to explain that when they (dc experts) do the payments that it goes into acc and overdraft do not get paid. We want to close our fnb acc also as it takes uo over R300 per month for bank charges and we dont use this acc anymore. Dc experts keep promising that they will phone fnb regarding this and to seperate the overdraft. Its been months now. Every time they promise feedback but NEVER get back to us. Yet another debit order has gone off WITHOUT our issue being resolved. We get phone calls saying that agreement does not get honored. We phone dc expertz every time with NO results. This is pathetic. Im starting to wonder if it was a good idea to join them!!
Never have we been treated so well and with so much understanding when having some financial difficulties . Budget's staff is absolutely amazing, friendly and always ready with alternative options or advise. We are very happy customers and will definately recommend Budget to anyone. One can rarely say this but we only receive GREAT service every time !! Best decision ever to join Budget.
Absolute worse service at pnp Brentwoodpark pharmacy. No customer care or even human relations experience to know how to work with customers. From today i will no longer support pnp Brentwood . Pathetic rude service
<p>Last year Nov we were in an accident caused by one of Outsurance"s clients. At the time we were with miway for insurance. A month later monies was paid out to fix our car. But an access fee of R4500 had to be paid. 7 months later we are still waiting for our access money. Have phoned miway who says Outsurance are delaying payout. Phoned outsurance who said that documents have been sent to miway for signing off on matter so pay out can be done. Phoned miway AGAIN who blatantly said that ousurance is lying!! Phoned Outsurance AGAIN who in return said that miway is lying, documents has been sent and they dont respond. Justin from miway who is our representative has only phobed me ONCE after promisses that he would keep us up to date. That was on the 8th of June after i made all the calls to both miway and outsurance. Dinky from outsurance keeps promising on e-mail that a Jennifer will contact me. I have names and also e-mails from outsurance promising that someone will contact me but nobody does!!! Also miway promised correspondence about the matter but not hearing anything from either . </p>
