Oupa(Mr Dube) of the above company was called by myself, after finding his company on Snupit ,to fit a brand new geyser for my domestic lady who was about to retire after working for me for 22 years.I was horrified to find out she had no running hot water in her house and so decided to gift her.Mr Dube's work was absolutely Exceptional and I would recommend him to anyone who needed work done.He is a perfectionist of note.Well done 'Oupa'.
Further to my previous complaint on the previously on trying to cancel my account,I had a voive message that was so bad I could not get the name of the woman who contacted me so asked her to contact me on my email, giving her my address. She duly rep**** and said please see email which she will send. That was the last I heard. No solution yet!!!!!!
When I-Pads first came out I purchased a Nashua contract for a data only Sim.After a few years Nashua was bought out by Vodacom and my contract went to them. All fine.Down the line I got a lap top at the Herm**** branch on the same contract but keeping my sim only package for my I-Pad.This was my only dealings with Vodacom.when the laptop reached its 2year date I cancelled that contract at the Herm**** branch only to find a few years down the line (many years in fact) I was still paying for a laptop which was long out of use. This year I got a new i-pad and because it is now wi-fi only Isent e-mails,letters,phone calls, and questions on their app to try and get my contract cancelled. So I stopped my debit order.Whoopee!suddenly Vodacom woke up and contacted me.I was told to pay up my arrears and the next month debit order amount to bring my account to zero and then phone back and they would cancel the contract. But no no-you cant do that ,you must first pay the length of contract still to run. What nonsense!!!!! I never spoke to vodacom at all about the contract renewal at any time of either of the two running amounts.Who renewed the lap top contract after I cancelled at a Vodacom branch??? I quoted the consumer Act where it says I may cancel a contract without penalty from a company if I so wish.I will not pay Vodacom another cent for this very reason,I am done with them.
Not a black Friday review. 1) In 2018 I had a very painful and long rehabilitation of an operation for a knee replacement(half knee-uni the surgeon called it).I had insurance cover for all diseases and loss of limbs with Liberty- very expensive I might add -to which I duly claimed.Over the years until 2024 letters went backwards and forwards with more info from the surgeon required and more papers and applications from me required,a long process. Finally a decision was made by them-REFUSAL OF PAYOUT on the grounds:Uni replacement is a repair not a knee replacement.? I have never had a knee operation before,I was in hospital for 5 days, had weeks of physio and almost nine months of rehabilitation before I could walk unassisted again.THIS IS RIDICULOUS.WHAT DO WE HAVE INSURANCE COVER FOR.? I feel I have been unfairly treated by Liberty and would like a re-assesment of my claim without having to go through all the rigmarole again. 2)Further to the above in 2022 I submitted another claim after I got a tumour on my kidney( Covid 19 vaccine damage, I believe) and had to have my kidney removed.I duly put in my claim to Liberty for the cancer and- - the payout was refused! Reason:prior disease.Understand,I am 72 years old now and more than 50 FIFTY years ago I had a very small melanoma removed from the base of my throat.Procedure done in the doctors rooms and no after effects or treatment. Now,again I think I was unfairly treated and I did not even get a payout for the actual loss of my kidney!!! Liberty,I have been a loyal customer of yours for many years and I am APPALLED at this treatment.
