I would just like to say that Herman who works in the front office has no people skills. My husband and I are old enough to be his parents. He was not interested in what I had to say about my car. It is after all my car so I know what I saw. He talked down to me as if I was an irritation to his day. Telephonically he is no better and makes one feel as if we are wasting his time. If he didn't have clients he would not have a salary at the end if the month.
I was provided with quote without a consultant coming to my house and I explained that as I was still in the process of packing I was not sure how many boxes I would have and was told this was not a problem. I was told that I would be kept up to date on the day of my move as to when the truck would arrive. The day arrived and I spent the day phoning to find out when the truck would get to me as we had to dive to Port Elizabeth the next day and also had to hand our keys over to the new owners. The truck orginally was to arrive before 2.00pm and eventually arrived at 10.45pm and proceeded to pack in the dark. I was then informed that they could not take all of my things as they had to leave space on the truck for the staff to sleep. At 12.30am I had to arrange for the balance of my things to be taken to my son's house. We then had to leave and drive to PE with no sleep as if we were not there before the truck we would have to pay penalties. Besides our house in JHB was now not ours to we could not sleep there. This was in July and I am still trying to get my items to PE. Chris does not even have the courtesy to return phone calls and I have emailed and left numerous messages. Very unhappy and would not recommend them to anyone.
