I would just like to say that Herman who works in the front office has no people skills. My husband and I are old enough to be his parents. He was not interested in what I had to say about my car. It is after all my car so I know what I saw. He talked down to me as if I was an irritation to his day. Telephonically he is no better and makes one feel as if we are wasting his time. If he didn't have clients he would not have a salary at the end if the month.

Took my 4x4 in to PE branch as it was closest to General Motors for parts. After decision to skim head at Vdbp branch and install a chip to improve fuel efficiency, vehicle was running well for 3 months. Then head gasket blew. I was requested to return vehicle on low-bed to SAC. After their inspection they agreed a head gasket was blown. On removing the head, a head bolt snapped, which they had removed on their costs. SACPE then refused to fix the vehicle at their cost as guarentee had exceeded the 60 days but not the kilometer specification. The AA was nominated and inspected the scenario and found in my favour as SACPE had not used new head bolts. So 3 months later I had to go and fetch my vehicle. SACPE was not prepared to reimburse me the low bed fee and/or the bus fee to PE. In my view very poor owner attitude and I would not recommend supporting SACPE.
