Useless. How can Samsung appoint these repair agent - THEY DO NOT EVEN ANSWER THEIR PHONE. EVER!!!!!!!!!!!
Discovery insure have excellent claims communication and handling. They are very fair and helpful. In particular I just deal with Shahida Nchinyane for a cracked cell phone screen. She was on the ball. Shahida got the claim authorized within 10 minutes, and refunded me within 2 days. Such a great experience when a company empower their team to take care of their customers!
Shocking service. After making me struggle to cancel my contract which I had had for more than 24 months, they continued to bill me, and did not refund me after countless requests via email and phone. They waste your time, and they do it on purpose. I switched to Afrihost - what a pleasure. Cheaper and faster. And 6 weeks later I am still waiting for my refund from web africa despite them agreeing to refund it....incredibly frustrating.
I emailed Telkom Mobile a request to Port my number. Instead, Telkom instantly cancelled the number! They deleted my number of 20 years standing - gone, no more number to port!!! I have a case ref number ********** 4 to reinstate the number but nothing is happening at all...... In the meantime I cannot do my internet banking, and customers cannot reach me. I have called the call centre and asked for a Team Leader to escalate, and not once has anyone got back tome. they put me on hold and no one ever answers the line after that. I find this is intensely frustrating, and I wish I had never ported my number to telkom in the first place.
<p>We flew SAA on an international trip. The flights themselves were a wonderful experience with superb SAA personnel all the way through. top points to SAA staff. they get 10 out of 10.<br /><br />SAA Voager get 1 out of 10.</p> <p>When we returned, SAA Voyager miles earned on the trip were not credited. After a huge amount of time and effort, Voyager staff eventually credited some of the missing miles. However for certain legs of the journey, there are still missing miles. After calling Voyager at least 10 times, and emailing them the boarding passes 8 times, they still have not reponded. We spoke to a person called "Samukelo" who did help with some flights, but then smply never came back to us on the missing miles for other flights. We flew 6 months ago, and this is still not resolved.</p> <p>Voyager is supposed to be a loyalty programme. It is actually the MOST FRUSTRATING experience, with a complete lack of regard by Voyager staff. They do not actually care about SAA. <br /><br />They let down the brand.</p>
<p>My mother in law bought a new Samsung LCD TV. After 3 years of watching TV in the evenings for a couple of hours max, the screen has stopped working and costs R7000 to replace the screen.</p> <p>Obviously it is cheaper to buy a new LG TV with superior quality.</p> <p> </p> <p>Called Samsung and gave them the quote reference details. After investigation, Samsung VOC said management can't do anything - its normal for a TV to last 3 years.</p> <p>VOC ref ********** 267</p> <p> </p> <p>Bottom line - Samsung do not stand by the quality of their products. Samsung TV is not meant to last beyond 3 years, it is a disposble item. </p> <p>Is this what we can expect from Samsung Galaxy S8 as well?</p> <p> </p> <p>By the way, I still have my LG TV working after 7 years, no issues!</p>
<p>We purchased a Samsung Fridge. One of the motivators for choosing Samsung was their Buy and Get promotion - either a Protea hotel stay or SAA domestic flight.</p> <p> </p> <p>Since signing up for the Buy and Get offer, the entire customer experience has been such that the Samsung brand do not live up to their name. </p> <p> </p> <p>In short, none of the hotel options we selected were available. We chose the Protea Hotel in Franschoel. Samsung said the hote was fully booked for all the date options we provided, and we were told the hotel said "thre was no availablility" <br /><br />However, when we called the hotel ourselves, there was plenty of available rooms, on all the dates we had selected as possible options with Samsung.</p> <p> </p> <p>Clearly, what has happened here is that Samsung probably got one or two rooms for the entire customer base. </p> <p> </p> <p>We spent hours on the phone with the Buy and Get team. We requested the Protea in Mossel Bay - same story. It was a sheer waste of time, going round in circles. In the end we simply felt cheated.</p> <p>Due to no hotel availablility, I requested to switch to a domestic air ticket - result - you cannot switch from hotel to airticket. </p> <p> </p> <p>We had many interactions wth Samsung. The ref no given via SMS was Customer ref no 30/11/2016 ********** 250.</p> <p> </p> <p>Dina from VOC dept called and said they would get back to me, but never did. </p> <p> </p> <p>To top it all, our Samsung Fridge itself is also playing up - producing intermittent exceptionally loud buzzing sounds - highly distrubing, since it is usually at night. When the technicians came, of course they could not fix the issue because the fridge did not produce the sound at the time of their visit.</p> <p> </p> <p>In short - Samsung is just not a quality product with a brand that is keeps their customers happy. In fact their promotion has achieved the exact opposite.</p> <p>Buyers, beware. With Samsung, you do not always get what you pay for.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
<p>Very efficient service from Kele Bezu and Smartlab Sandon . My phone was fixed perfectly, and the service experience was superb. Smartlab have excellent systems, and their level of customer communication is the best in the industry.</p>
