All the while we been blaming Vox Telecoms for our internet problems, just to actually find out that's it's not the ISP company Vox who are always at fault but the main fibre operator Vumatel... This is one of the most useless fibre operators in South Africa.. They apparently have No technicians to do fault finding after hours or weekends.. They inform the ISP that there is a 72 hour turnaround time.... How pathetic. I must actually commend Vox and the other ISP's who actually depend and utilise Vumatel Fibre... I only wish some other fibre provider can install fibre infrastructure here in Kempton Park Terenure suburb..... Then the ISP will have a choice and not be so badly labelled due to poor service from Vumatel
Poor service and no existent customer service especially from Vumatel.. The ISP Vox is also pathetic as they have never fully resolved my issues for the past 5 years but Vumatel takes the award for worse fibre provider. Imagine thus they don't have a standby crew, their excuse is "our technicians have knocked off" what a feeble excuse. Do they realise that we work from home with international clients and need internet to contact clients due to time zone differences.. I am just mortified by the fact that they cannot repair the issue.

I made and paid this morning 21 August 2025,It was stated that it will be delivered the next day, but suddenly after payment was done the date changed to Monday 23rd, I do not accept the delivery date. Requested a full refund so I can go buy it else where for cash. This is too is again not acceptable because Takealot don't care.. They do not adhere to their own delivery schedule
Vumatel by VOX is clearly confused, all I wanted is a downgrade to a 50/50 line from the 100/100.This is been the case of error upon error from Vox and Vumatel despite several calls and communications they still get it wrong all the time.. Their customer service is very poor and is going worse by the day
I requested a downgrade from 100/100 to a 50/50 in the beginning of January 2025, Vox informed me that they can effectively do his from 01 February as it was too late for January, we agreed on the new contract and pricing, unfortunately Vumatel and Vox messed this whole downgrade and started this whole thing as a new installation.. Time and time they kept sending me notifications that make absolutely no sense. We had a family tradegy on 10 January 2025 as we had 4 immediate family members die in a gruesome accident. We were all in turmoil and went to KZN to support the family and make arrangements for funerals. Again Vox and Vumatel continued with their unprofessional behaviour. To me I have upgraded many times wifi out any glitches, but with a downgrade they completly mess up and frustrate one to a point that you stay with the expensive option, to me it's just a scheme to frustrate you not to downgrade to a more affordable plan to suite my requirements.. It's all about business and money. In fact I got so frustrated that I told them just leave it as it is. This to me is highly unprofessional and ********* behaviour that VOX is not willing to assist you downgrade but have had no problem with upgrading to a higher level.. So it's all about making more and more money with poor service
In my opinion Vumatel is just as useless as their service provider Vox Telecoms. Between them they have still never resolved my connectivity issues for the past 5 years.. What an excuse Vox keep passing the blame to Vumatel and vice versa
I have had endless problems with Vox Telecoms since I installed Fibre to my home via Vox/Vumatel. This is ongoing issues almost every week since 2018 when we first installed Vox. The havel always had excuses but never solutions both Vox and Vumatel I spend days without a connection but still get billed full. In fact amazingly during the Covid 19 pandemic there were no issues.. The only time we had no issues. Is this fair as I now have to use mobile data to supplement and also actually had to get Rain as a standby when fibre is down.. Which is most of the time.. I do not have the luxury of relying on Rain as we have given this to my son who has moved into his own home.. But my question is I pay for Vox every month but have never had satisfactory service.. Maybe it is time to move on as there are others who are also connected to Vumatel via other service providers who are online everytime.. Tired of this blame game between Vox and Vumatel
I bought 2 beds about 3 months ago.. The queen bed starts showing signs of sagging and collapse Tried calling them, no answer, messages no answer.. Sent video showing bed sinking, still no response Very poor customer service
