A pregnant friend set up an online registry for her baby shower gifts, listing items from Babies R Us.The Babies R Us site is very helpful, and even asked if the item I'm ordering is a gift. I selected the gift bag option (an additional R39.90) and filled in the wording for the card. This option is only available for delivery, so instead of picking it up at the store (for free), I selected same day delivery (for R85). Needless to say, the item arrived without the gift bag and card. What if I had sent this straight to my friend? When I called the call centre, they said that the gift bag comes from a different place (not from the store) and is only available for the 2-5 day delivery option. Also, the items won't be placed in the gift bag, it will be a separate item as part of the delivery. I fail to see how this adds any benefit??? Babies R Us need to learn from Netflorist how to deliver gifts!
If you were thinking of buying clothes from Edgars on-line, don't do it. I ordered 3 sets of winters PJs for my daughters on 4 May 2020. After numerous calls and e-mails, I finally received the parcel on 10 June 2020... containing 1 PJ top. Apparently the others items are all suddenly "out of stock". What a joke!
We had an on-line consultation, as I didn't want to risk taking my daughter to the doctors' rooms. It worked like a charm! Doctor was on time, quickly diagnosed the problem and e-mailed through a script. Great service.
I ordered some winters PJs for my daughters on 4 May 2020. Today is 27 May and nothings has been delivered. My e-mails don't get answered, neither does my Facebook messages. The call centre is a complete waste of time, as the agent just said "oh, it should have been delivered by now". To top it off, I receive daily SMS and phone calls, harassing me to pay my account, which is only due next week. I won't pay a cent until I receive the PJs for my kids... probably in time for Spring.
