This review is strictly for the Real Mama Club event. What a beautiful event it is. Very informative and a fun way to get out of the house and have fun as a new mom. I've been to 2 of these events and enjoyed them both. Even though my baby is not a newborn anymore I'm still likely to attend. However last year at Raddison a lady who was at one of the stalls were trying to convince me to purchase a baby carrier. Explained to her that my baby is a bit older now and we don't need one she responded by saying then why am I here, why did I buy a ticket. I was stunned by her response it put me down for a second. People showcasing their products need to be a bit more respectful. She seemed very less interested in interacting with me from the onset. That was the only downside

I am very pleased with the Chelino baby car seat I bought from Babies R Us. The seat feels sturdy and well-made, and it provides excellent comfort and support for my baby. Installation was straightforward, and the safety features give me great peace of mind while travelling. The padding is soft, and the design is practical and easy to use. Overall, it’s a great quality car seat and definitely worth the purchase. I would highly recommend it to other parents.

currently shopping around for car seat and stroller so I decided to go instore so I can ask all the relevant questions. I went to babies r us mall of Africa and the only assistance I got was from the security guard who unfortunately could not answer me fully as I needed a sales person to assist with the questions I had etc he asked a lady I think her name is precious or patience to come assist 3 times and she didn't bother she only came and stood by the door since we had decided to leave after spending 30 good minutes in store without anyone assisting me or asking if I'm ok. She stood near us at the door after he called her one last time and she said she is going to eat, no hoots given that we standing there so she could atleast pretend that she's willing to help and call someone else nope nothing ! the main reason for going in store is that we needed explanation and guidance as there's things like ISOFIX I needed clarity on but guess my business was not needed or they profiled me as a window shopper I wouldn't know. But I'm disgusted with the lack of service at 38 weeks I should not be standing for over 30min without anyone coming to my aid

Babies R Us clearwater is the worst, I've been there twice and not even once have I received proper customer care. The people working there don't care to assist therefore your on your own until you decide to leave.

A pregnant friend set up an online registry for her baby shower gifts, listing items from Babies R Us.The Babies R Us site is very helpful, and even asked if the item I'm ordering is a gift. I selected the gift bag option (an additional R39.90) and filled in the wording for the card. This option is only available for delivery, so instead of picking it up at the store (for free), I selected same day delivery (for R85). Needless to say, the item arrived without the gift bag and card. What if I had sent this straight to my friend? When I called the call centre, they said that the gift bag comes from a different place (not from the store) and is only available for the 2-5 day delivery option. Also, the items won't be placed in the gift bag, it will be a separate item as part of the delivery. I fail to see how this adds any benefit??? Babies R Us need to learn from Netflorist how to deliver gifts!

Would give it 0 stars. Their online system SUCKS!!!! Created gift register with them online. 1. The baby shower guests couldn't add money to the baby bank 2. People bought duplicate items because it did not indicate that the item was bought by someone else. 3. Some one did manage to put money in the baby bank. Wanted to make use of the money with an order but I chose the wrong payment method by mistake. Now it has claimed that I used my baby bank amount and wont allow me to use it when I reorder.

Dear Babies R Us Customer Service, I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I received regarding my recent query. I purchased a baby bouncer from Babies R Us in May 2025 as a gift for my sister’s baby. On 11 November 2025, the baby fell from the bouncer due to a fault, which is extremely concerning and could have resulted in serious injury. Naturally, I contacted your customer service team for assistance. However, the response I received was completely unacceptable. There was absolutely no remorse, no willingness to assist, and no understanding of the seriousness of the incident. I was simply told that without the original packaging, nothing could be done. This is extremely unreasonable. The item was a gift — how am I expected to have the original packaging months later? Your response shows no consideration for real customer situations or basic customer care, especially when the product involved is meant for the safety and comfort of an infant. I am extremely upset by the way my concern was handled. To be told that I cannot return or exchange the item purely because I do not have the packaging — despite the product clearly being faulty — is unacceptable. I am requesting that this matter be escalated to a manager immediately. I expect: 1. A proper explanation for the dismissive and unhelpful response I received. 2. A fair and urgent resolution regarding the faulty bouncer, regardless of packaging. 3. Assurance that your customer service standards will be addressed to prevent this from happening to other customers, especially when safety is involved. I hope to hear back soon with a meaningful and respectful resolution.
