We purchased a property for our retirement in cash from estate agent Chris Keevy from Infoprop Herm**** in March 2016. After months of ongoing disputes and poblems between the agent an the transfer attorneys property was registered on 8 July 2016, but the EUA (parking and garden are to date still not registered). The agent misrepresnted the property by non disclosure of the following:1. Not disclosing that 5 of the 6 units are occupied by tennants2.DSTV not working(He paid for dish 4 months later)3.Our parking bay and garden not registered4.Not mentioning septic tank5.Not mentioning unit has a electricity sub meter(Electricity kwg VERY HIGH).If the agents disclosed all of the above like he should have,we would not of purchased the property.Just because an agent is old, does not make them honest!Beware retired folks when purchasing through Infoprop Herm****.

Complaint lodged with EAAB on 2 August 2016.

No response received.zero! No matter that the agent Chris Keevy from Infoprop Herm**** refrained from providing us as buyers with full disclosure!Just because an estate agent are old, does not make them honest!

Why have a complaints procedure when you dont investigate and resolve?

No wonder there are so many corrupt estate agents in SA when the body that is suppose to regulate them refrain from doing their job.

Think its time for legislation to be changed EAAB and my wife who sits in Parliament will take this further.
