I have been a faithful woolworths customer for decades. Their app is hideous and now this new nonsense of picking a time slot (the next day) and paying extra R60 for the privilege of waiting 24 hours. Even in store has gone down hill since 2020. They're always out of stock on multiple items. Why bother with them when checkers have upped their game significantly in store and their 60 60 app and service is fantastic. Goodbye woolworths.
<p>Chris bought inverters from us some years back. He has sent them back over the years for repairs. Most repairs have been related to the sea air causing rust damage to the boards. We always repair the units for low costs and as fast as possible. Chris is always rude and distrusting of any advise and reports we offer. His latest issue is witrh an inverter he sent in a couple of weeks ago stating it did not work. We spent 2 weeks testing the units under different loads and circumstances and speaking/emailing Chris the findings. The unit was working 100%. We did not charge for this service. We got an extremely rude call from him this morning demanding to see the technician or me (neither of whom were available today) and still went to the office to cause problems. We have advised him there is nothing else we can do for him as his inverter is working. He obviously lacks in technical knowledge and experience and insteasd of finding an installer in Sandown Bay to assist him he turns to rather blame us for not repairing the unit. The problem he is having has to be with the installation/site because we have tested it as thoughroughly as humanley possible. We would have sold him new parts for the inverter but we are honest and helpful at Maiden Electronics and would never do that. The units are long out of warranty, we were just trying to be as helpful as possible but after being sworn at today we have had to ask that Chris use another company and no longer contact us for his inverter repairs. He has vowed to wage a solcial media war against us which does not scare us because we will simply reponse to any posts with the facts and any prostecting customer will be able to see the man is rude, demanding and unreasonable.</p>
