I have been going to Der Zucker Backer for many, many years and I was looking so forward to going there today again. What a total disappointment, From the Decor, to the atmosphere, to the quality of the food we ordered. I don't eat a lot, so I wanted the chicken strips & chips off the kiddies menu, only to be told that it has an age restriction of 12 years and younger. I have never had an issue like this elsewhere. I was then told to order the half portion of chicken & chips from the other section, as it is priced according to Adults. (I was not concerned about the price, I was concerned about the size of the plate actually). The strips were quite tough and the chips looked shrivelled up and old, totally unappetizing. My husband's prego roll was tough to eat too. We hardly touched our plates and asked for doggy bags. I did take my plate to the Manager, and he said they would make me new chips, to which I said it was not necessary, I was no longer hungry. We were charged full price. We were going to buy the divine custard/almond and chocolate mousse cakes to take home, but after this experience, we decided to go home empty handed rather, and I doubt that we will ever go there again in future. Very sad day for me. :-(
Please stay away from Ash, at ASH MOTORS. Our Colt Bakkie's engine blew on 24 October 2024. He spun us a long story why he needed money up front to commence the work and in good faith we paid him the R35 000. He initially told us that it would take 2 to 3 weeks to repair. 5 Months later we still sat without transport. It was excuse, after excuse, promises upon promises. We went to the Police twice, but they said they could not assist. Went to the Court to get a summons issued, they could not help us. We did not have the finance to pay an Attorney, and this guy's attitude was, "Do whatever you want to", but he clearly was not worried. We stuck to the Legal route and contacted Legal Aid, but they did not respond further after my email to them. I also contacted the Auto Ombudsman and the Consumer Council. They said they would look into it, but as yet, we have no further responses from them. I eventually, physically went and sat on the property where he works from. (He also led us to believe that he had a Workshop, turns out its in a garden). We now do have the Bakkie back, but it is not 100 %, but we are just b relieved to have back in our possession. We have learnt a HUGE lesson, and just want to warn others out there, to not go to this guy. Its a total nightmare!
Can SOMEONE at Courier Guy PLEASE HELP WITH THIS. I booked this parcel to be fetched from JG Electronics on 9 April 2024, I still have received anything. Upon tracking it I noticed that it was at the hub, then all of a sudden it was sent back to JG Electronics, where it was picked up from. Then I get a CONGRATULATIONS message saying my parcel is delivered to me, which is certainly is not. JG Electronics also contacted me to ask what is going on, as the parcel was delivered back to them. What the heck is going on??? I should have delivered the goods to my client by today, but still have received nothing and still have to print what is going onto them, which sets a VERY BAD LIGHT on the excellent service, which I always strive for. No one that I have reached out to at Courier Guy is taking this seriously, which is shocking. I want this sorted out today. I am really NOT impressed at all. We have had many slips ups from Courier Guy, but this one really takes the cake!
