Please do not take your car there or allow your insurer to book with them. My items that were in the car disappeared and no one at ElJoney can explain what happened. They claim to have pics of items that were in the car, we are still waiting for the pics. Because of this, I am considering changing my insurance company because I do not understand how a reputable company like Discovery can be associated with El Joney
I bought items from Shein and have been happy with them till now. In the past they used Buffalo or Imile,both efficient couriers. This time they decided to use Skynet. They claim they couldn't deliver because I was not home. I was home on the day they claim to have tried to deliver. There was no call from driver. I even confirmed with security at the gate and they confirmed there was no such delivery. I am now worried that my parcel might be ******. I am having second thoughts about buying from Shein in future because they don't even give customers the option to choose a courier they are happy with. Shame to Skynet! No wonder they have 1 out of 10 from customers
I bouught an umbrella with a solar light from Takealot in late Dec. I bought other accessories like an umbrella cover and the base for umbrella stand. This was for our holiday home . After the hiolidays we went back without opening the parcels. I went now again beginnig of March. I decided t open all the parcels. When I opened the umbrella, part C , which is the soalr part was not in the box. Our helper cleared out some of the boxes while we were out. I logged a return for the umbrella, minus the box. I had to return the cover and the base since the umbrella was clearly damaged. I asked them to at least replace the part if thay cannot replace or refund me. Regards, Donnay.S I a beyond appalled! They want to return this umbrella to me, still without the missing part. What am I supposed to do with this umbrella ? I have been supporting takealot for a very long time. I asked to speak to management but it looks like all they care about is taking our money but they care nothing about customer care.
I am appalled at the service I got from Takealot after supporting them for so long. I bought a mobile cupboard which unfortunately was not sturdy enough for my shoes. The return was approved and it was collected. The issue was returning the funds to my bank account. I got an email stating that they cannot refund me because my reason for the return was that I did not need the item. This was of course untrue, I had stated my reason as "Did not meet my expectations' I even exaplained that the item was not sturdy enough. Before the return request, I discovered that there were parts missing. I then emailed telling them about this. I was asked to diassemble and return the whole unit. After so much work I was not ready to do that, I just wanted the missing parts. As it turned out, the unit was not sturdy and kept falling, hence when I requested a return, stating that my expectations were not met. No need for missing parts because their unit was definitely not suitable for storing shoes. To cut a long story short, they are refusing to return my money because they claim I said I did not want the item anymore. I have sent them a screen shot showing what I wrote as my reason for the return. Proving that they are lying and twisting everything to justify not returning my money. This is the 2nd week since they collected the item and almost 3days since I sent them the proof of what my reason was for the return. I am still waiting I have been supporting Takealot for more than 5 years but I will not be suportting them after this experience. It is clear that they want customers to credit their takealot account , not return the money to your bank account What a shame!
This travel agent based in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga booked flights with inconvenient times slots without advising me about other airlines with more suitable slots. When I asked later, she said the other airline was not showing. How can an experienced agent not know that there are other airlines going to Mauritius, besides Air Mauritius and Kenya Airlines. I had to search for suitable flights myself and found suitable slots via SAA. I had to cancel with Air Mauritius, before cancelling the airline I asked her if we can get vouchers or a credit for the tickets, she said no. She showed the cancellation fees to an amount of about R11 000. I asked for a breakdown from the airline and she has not emailed it yet. I was not happy with how she handled the booking and I emailed Air Mauritius and they said the travel agent should have advised me and given me other options besides cancelling, which was costly. Air Mauritius said when I asked the agent about credit or vouchers, she should have advised me that Air Mauritius allows passengers to keep tickets up to 1 year from date of issue. Passengers can postpone the trip and use tickets later before the expiry date. There may be a difference in fare , taxes plus the rebooking fee. This agent failed to mention my options and has cost me money. This is our wedding anniversary trip and she has spoilt all the excitement I had about Mauritius. She has to be liable somehow because of her lack of diligence and not looking out for the best interests of Flight Centre clients People do not even bother to lay a complaint because Flight Center will side with their staff. Do yourselves a favour and book with travel agents that value their clients I will not be using Flight center ever! It is a pity because there are good agents but those bad apples are definitely giving this business is bad name
